because it is - you didn't notice a single bit of exhaust or heat flow coming off either engine? no aileron, flaps, or vertical stabilizer movement in all those extreme moves??? Were did the bright yellow 'e2" on the VS disappear to? It was there when it took off - and when it landed - but disappeared in flight - right??? It fake dude!

@@saito125 Extremely risky, crazy stall angles and speeds, at that low of an altitude, leaves you zero chance to recover if there's any failures.

One thing to remember, airplanes are designed to be able to safely take off minus one engine, and climb. At maximum load. So a 747 for instance can take off safely on 4-1=3 engines. On twin jets, it's 1 engine. Hence the excess of power. Most of the time, flex take off is used (less than 100%) dependung on load, temps, runway, etc.. So back to this example, any twin jet demonstration at airshows is going to get these crazy take offs. They're empty, and totally overpowered, allowing for insane take offs 😊

I don't think demonstration flights have any passengers. The take off is impressive, but I have seen other videos showing the same thing with bigger planes. Modern planes have abundant power. Designed to be able to take off on one engine with passengers and full fuel. I would guess this plane had enough fuel to give this demo flight and not much more, no passengers, no luggage.

There were no passengers in this flight, just the crew and the official Embraer photographer.

It’s empty. Thats why it has such great climb ability. Very Low weight.

I would be reckless to take off fully loaded with passengers and cargo in such fashion !

I don't think they compete with boeing in any market segment, this is more of a rival to the airbus a220

Not with fully loaded passengers and luggage…all that weight changes flight dynamics….and insurance claims. Good to have another major airliner manufacturer in the fold. Hope Embraer does well and wont fall into the abyss as Boeing.

Yeah, don't have your expectations so high.. This is under much different circumstances than a normal passenger flight. This is pushing this airframe to the upper ends of its limits, and there is absolutely NO weight on that plane while doing this. This is also likely a new plane and not a 40yr old plane that has been used and abused. Aviation is one of the most well-oiled and regulated industries on the planet, but you would NEVER see a typical commercial plane doing this type of maneuvering. It would most likely end in a failure of the airframe, AKA wings breaking off from the forces involved. I say this not to imply that air transport isn't safe, but that you will never be on a plane pulling these tight of turns and maneuvers because under most circumstances, this would be a death sentence.
