Good luck Ryan. Early and late have been good. Was out today and it was a grind. Did well on first 2 hours of high out go tide, got a 6.5 on a toad with about 17 or 18 lbs for best 5. Have no confidence I could back that up tomorrow. Base of tullies and outside of weed lines, lot's of cast, went through quite a few shorts and evey now and then we would hit a 2 to 3 pound fish. One foot in frount of the other all day, grinding. Let me know how you do.

I am sure it's been lots of junk fishing. Some big fish are comming on frogs,worms and chatterbaits. Just got to fish the water in front of you with the right bait. I got a 6.5 today on a horney toad. My secret was lots of cast and trying to keep my confidence up.

Have you been down around Tracy in the south delta. I know that area has been kicking out big tournament weights. I would not be looking at 20 pound pluse bags but I think it's realistic for an average angler to have a 10 to 12 fish day with a couple of 3 pound fish in the mix and an occasional chance at a bigger fisn every now and then.. I know mossdale was hit hard by high water, it may be your old spots have changed and you will need to find new water. I know it's frustrating, we all go through droughts but it sounds like you have really been struggling. Keep putting in the work and things will change. @@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 your absolutely right the high water changed everything all my spots are completely gone all the trees and lay downs are all gone so maybe I need to just keep looking around I only launch here because it’s 2 min from my house so I only fish here but I’ll let you know how it goes I’ll start trying new areas more thanks Steve.
