Desert Polo, a unique event concept created for the Saudi Polo Federation in partnership with the Royal Commission for AlUla, with objective to promote the unexplored and breathtaking UNESCO Site of AlUla.
The event designed to attract high profile guests including Argentina’s La Dolfina's Adolfo Cambiaso, Pelon Stirling and Richard Mille ambassador Pablo Mac Donough as well as newly announced AMAALA ambassador, Nacho Figueras play alongside 4 royal patrons and other high profile guests.
Guests of honor during the prize giving included Prince Abdulaziz Bin Faisal Al Turki, Chairman of the General Sport Authority, Richard Mille CEO EMEA, Peter Harrison, Nicholas Naples CEO AMAALA and Bandar Al Turki, board member Al Nahla Group.
The trophy was presented the to winners Team AMAALA, Nacho Figueras, George Spencer Churchill and Prince Carl von Oettingen-Wallerstein. Most valuable player went to Sheikha Alia Al Maktoum.
AlUla Desert Polo was also Saudi Arabia’s first official polo tournament.
