I decided amidst the crisis and because I currently have Disney+ it’s time to finally watch the Avengers movies properly. Except I can’t watch Hulk

I haven’t seen any of the movies before because I’d heard that you have to see all of them to understand it. I’ve been using an order listed on polygon which said you really don’t need to watch Hulk. Which is good because it’s not an option.

Deric James I wouldn’t want to waste money on something that only serves one purpose and it will only need to be used once. It might be available to stream on Peacock next month since NBCUniversal retains the right to distribute The Incredible Hulk over Disney.

I love Ruffalo but I loved Edward Norton more. Probably he has pain and anger that Ruffalo's Hulk doesn't have that much comparatively. Regardless Ruffalo is likable and his Hulk is a bit different. Both are good in their own ways.

He would still get whooped. Hulk became soft after he got his ass handed to him by Thanos.

Yup. Love this movie. Has incredible action scenes and I'm partial to hulk movies anyway. It's only human nature that many won't like it after seeing Mark Ruffalo as Hulk first. I still watch the Eric Bana Hulk too, even though the movie was kind of bad.

This movie has no connection to the Hulk 2003 movie. The 2003 movie is a standalone movie. The Incredible Hulk (2008) is apart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it ties in with all of the other Marvel movies with the Avengers. They just changed the actor from this movie to the Avengers (2012) because the actor (Edward Norton) is known to be a bit of a pain to work with. This was the official press release "Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members." which sounds about right.
