now that we know *kanye is a nazi,* doesn't really make me want to click on anything with him on it. we should treat him like voldemort, and just call him he who shall not be named. and blur his face out.
hey I'm learning tabla for about 9 years now and lemme tell you it's the best thing to zone out and to make for a very good hobby! it might be sloppy at first but it needs consistency fs.
2:32, no wonder the songs turned out great. Its R.D. Burman’s music. The man was a legendary music composer of the golden era bollywood. He is the reason why old Bollywood songs are considered as some of the best indian songs of all time.
The Indian Sample from Timbo on "Put you on the game" is crazy ear candy. Basically the melody Metro Boomin did now 20 years later and people go crazy...
When I started making music...I thought Timbo made everything from scratch...so I started to make everything from scratch. lol. Now I use samples along with whatever I add. Live and learn. 😎
@@NavieD The combination of samples, stems and synth sounds is an open door to make anything you want....I would say learning this way made me a way better producer. Specially since I am not musically trained. My music is way better and in some ways it's more musical. At least I think so lol...I'm a little biased obviously. 😎
The Beats of DJ Muggs//Cypress Hill are missing. He often uses indian samples in a special way. With "Elephants on Acid" there's a whole concept album with indian stoner vibes. I often wonder why muggs' beats are so rarely analyzed in beat break downs ... ✌
The very first sample that I can remember and will stay with me forever was in Paid in Full! It hooked me on the sound and India has occupied a space in my mind from that day.
don't wanna bother you, navie, but if you can recommend us some good old 00's classics like "Hold You Down" or "Give It To Me" i would appreciate it very much, at least some artists
But if everybody is sampling from youtube, isnt the quality going down in general? I know it´s better to have the orginal sample quality and all but it´s not always to find or buy. Than youtube is a good option, but I only use youtube for vocals that I can´t find or buy. Great vid btw, always cool to see what artsist´s used for sampling. Producers of N.E.R.D did it even more simple, they just use complete presets to make some of the most iconic beats of the Neptunes, N.E.R.D etc
I’m curious. On the beat you made; is the slide note on the end of each note to cutoff the sample playing? Is there a reason you would use that instead of envelope control?
i'm really into the indian vocals in electrionica music as well. tracks like *'Do You?' by Trixvel and TroyBoi.* and *'Break Law' by Dog Blood, Skrillex, and Boys Noize.*
