I just heard about that yesterday. It’s really unfortunate how that all shook out. Artie was great on the show, but his life became a train wreck, and Stern probably hates that there’s an enabler factor that’s tough to deal with. Probably a lot of anger, guilt, embarrassment, resentment, regret, etc. that comes from that era of the show, and unfortunately, he’s decided to remove all traces of Artie on the show because of it. Unless he discusses it at some point, which seems unlikely, we’ll never know all the reasons for why it has to be that way.

Ralph was being way too sensitive here. Heather made it a point to say she wasn’t serious that he gave the worst gift. She said no, it was actually really nice. I just said that to get back at Ralph for all the stuff he said about my shoes and calling Bubba fat and making fat jokes. And Ralph totally gets personal and stops joking and takes it to another level. That’s his fault for being so sensitive when she said she was just joking it wasn’t a bad gift. So him getting pissed that she said he gave a shitty gift is uncalled for when she wasn’t serious. Ralph also was way too sensitive when Artie joked he was a thief and he got all butthurt and was saying mean, hurtful stuff to Artie. He started it that time too making jabs at Artie until he said that.
