I mean in all seriousness you can't just regrow lettuce forever from the same plant. It will try to go to seed (bolting) eventually no matter what you do and will become very tough and unpleasant to eat. You can already tell how the plant changed by the end of this clip. You have to actually save seeds and replant them to have agriculture... So this guy didn't discover agriculture, or even a really good idea at all... Lettuce is so cheap at the store that all this repotting is just not worth the time, and even if you did want to grow it yourself you would do better just restarting it from seed every time, you would get way more produce for your time and effort.

The real glitch is if it's infinite, the cut and come again method is very common amongst market gardeners. However, it only really works for 2-3 cycles as it's a diminishing return each time harvested.

You may not realize, we live in an era where people actually think food just... Comes from the grocery store. Like it just appears there and it always has. No prior work needed, just bam! Food. And it's not just a few people sadly.
I mean.. both are correct. Yogurt is the most popular form of an infinite food glitch. You put yogurt bacteria in milk, warm it a little, wait a day and you get yogurt, but the thing is.. Yogurt requires bacteria of almost specific kinds to be made. Farming requires you to nurture the said plant every week or every day, depending on plant. Both will give the result: A renewable source, Seeds, or Yogurt bacteria.
@@yongyilim1655 I picked up the concept in my teens. Part of understanding and appreciating the civilised world I'm accustomed to, unlike *a certain group* who cries "oppression" because air-conditioned desk jobs are supposed to be standard-issue 😂
