@@918bassfishingfuture5 no you can't, that's the point (of the video). He says to use DISTILLED water, which is water without any dissolved minerals, but shows mineral water. In reality, you could use tap or mineral water, but it will have more nucleation sites which will mess up the process of supercooling the water.
Eh, I’ve done it before. It doesn’t feel any different than drinking cold liquid…I think perhaps your own internal body heat warms it up past the point of freezing or something as it’s going down.
@@awkwardsilence4427 i can relate one time i was at a restaurant and i accidentally swallowed a ice cube and it felt cold going through my system but soon it just went away
How to make ice: If your from UK go to the nearest tesco and buy ice If your from USA go to the nearest walmart Edit : anywhere else just check your fridge/freeze or go to your nearest local shop .
I remember doing that on accident I was thirsty, and it was negative 20 degrees outside, and there was this little shop, i bought coke from it, opened it, and it just turned into ice
That was surfusion, i don't know what it is called in english. It is when a liquid is below the freezing temperature but not for enough time. Because to for ice, you need a bit of energy to create the interface between solid and liquid. When it is in surfusion, just a little thing giving it energy, like droping it, will form ice
@@EthanMoran1999what is with you not understanding a joking tone and proceed to take things too seriously? also his clearly drinking whiskey in the middle of a day whilst also labeling the bottle as "apple juice" which is clearly a joke but just letting you know since that might have flown over your head
"That ain't wo'er" has gotta be the most Bri'ish thing I've heard, haha!! Absolutely love it, British people are amazing. Also, that moment when he pours water on the ice cube looks like gosh darn magic. That doesn't look like it should happen like that, but it does, and it is amazing
For water to form ice , of ice has to be formed which grow with nuclie time converting water into ice. Impurities can provide nucleation points. For pure distilled water no impurities so no nuclei of ice are formed. Tapping creates pressure waves which compresses water creating dense regions of ice which grows quickly converting water to ice
A bit unrelated, but I still don't understand why people drink distilled water. It's bland + you should not be drinking it too often. Minerals are important, guys.
