I agree with you. This is not the division, for example, or destiny. They just want you to have fun. Remember, there will not be making another Starfield for another 15 years. So what we have is what we have. Bethesda is not going to be making many patches to avoid anyone from taking advantage of the game like the division developers, you also not going to get banned. And I am not in a hurry to level up. There is no hurry for me to find legendary items. Don’t get me wrong. It’s good to see that they are out there. But this is the kind of game that you’re playing for many years and you just love to play and explore. I love your videos because I can see what I can do and what I can’t do. And you show things that I didn’t know. This is a big game. I have been waiting for a game like this for years.

I’m with you brother, I like playing the game to level up. Setting up farms on bases is interesting the first time, but it’s way more fun to just play the game. I hate the way some content creators refer to “endgame” leveling. Like you need to be doing it or you’re not playing the game right.

This is how I've been playing. Exploring all the high level planets looking for the Alien mobs that give the most XP and just farming the crap out of them. Land in desert areas so you don't have a lot of tree's in your way. Build yourself a really nice sniper rifle(anything based on the .50 caliber rounds will do) and farm away from a distance. Spec into Ballistics, Rifles and Sniper and you'll be hitting for BIG damage.

Dude I'm glad you made a video. I've been "farming" that planet for 2 days just exploring and enjoying myself. I didn't think anyone would make a video on it. Well done sir.

This is awesome man! Just joined & liked your page... this breathed new life in the SF for me. I was doing some of those boring XP grinds, and it was wearing on me. I have a bit of a hybrid model now -> I built a "husbandry" on Shrodinger III, just one, not many. There you can tame the foxbat, and it's great for farming but it definitely gets boring. All you need is 1 skill point in Zoology, and have Heller be your companion (in case you have nothing in outpost skills). I use your method to have fun, and I may run back there from time to time just to get over the hump of a few XP that may be needed to get to that next skill point. Thanks again!!! Great video! True what you mentioned about not needing to build farmhouse to get creatures to shoot. I'm still in my 1st play through, level 103. I been mostly surveying systems, going in order from #1 to higher level systems, beside landing on quest related systems. I pretty much land my ship and hop on top of my ship and fire away at the creatures and been leveling up that way too. I mostly want to level to place those points in my favorite perks before I go into the final main questline. Thanks!

Once people learned to save and re load the game for drops that's when people got bored. Because some will sit there for 15-30 minutes and get nothing they want. But if they randomly got the drop the dopamine hit is way different. So people are attracted to the cheese and lose the good feeling of getting truly "lucky". Anything that fast tracks you to weapons or gear much earlier than intended isn't good for any games longevity

I really love this video! Another helpful hint: Always landing near bodies of water, ESPECIALLY beaches, usually the creatures will be tough-shelled, defensive, and attack in packs... also many times you will see two types of creatures attacking each other, making it easy to rack ip HUNDREDS of points via a Negotiator or other rifle with the Hornet's Nest perk.. thanks for the video and cheers!

That’s how I’ve been leveling and have found it pretty enjoyable. If I can find the time when the new creation kit drops, I kind of want to make a Predator themed mod based around hunting (this game seems perfect for it).

Agree, that's a good way to do it. I do enjoy the "keep jumping between bodies in the Serpentis system" method because it also provides crazy credits as you hit up the wreckage of the ships you destroy

Thumbs up from me. I've created a great outpost for material/xp/credit farming (not the one that apparently most of the YT videos recommend that starts with an 'A', I think. This one is far better for early players, having a spot to extract Aluminum, Cobalt, Iron, & Nickel all at once & a 58 to 1 ratio for hours slept.), but this is obviously less mundane & I think better for console players since it takes noticeably longer to go through the fabrication process because we can't just drag the slider all the way to 99 when making items or set up macros to do it. Though you do need to be a bit further along level & equipment wise to really cut through all the enemies you'll face here.

Love the video and I’m going to XP farm there. Another tip is make sure you sleep (1hr is enough) before mowing down a bunch of aliens there. You get a 10% XP boost for a certain amount of time that increases how much you XP you gain. Also if you’re married to one of the companions and they are with you, you can get instead 15% XP boost. The Tranquiliteas also give a 2% XP boost. You can make your own things to give you boosts but personally for me it’s just easier for me to buy the teas. There’s probably other aid items that have a higher amount of boosts though.

Love the concept here. I’m doing the insane outpost stuff myself but it can be boring. I’ve streamed some and I even want to fall asleep lol. I’ll try this out

This is great. Also, go to areas of interest in the planet’s surface, like abandoned cryo factory, weapon factory, whatever. Because it’s a high-level planet, you will have a lot of pirates to fight, and you will get REALLY good weapons and armor as well. 👍🏻

Gg bro. I’m played out on the outpost crafting thing. Did the outpost weapon crate deal. Tired. 2 things needed to progress: ship kills and damage, and creature/npc kills. Can’t check all those tick marks to unlock next by clicking crap in a crafting* station… So here we are. I’m getting ready to go find this place. I've put about 60 hours in (finished main story and side quests... at least the ones I've found), and haven't even built an outpost yet. Just got started with researching mods to release the potential of snipers I've scored... and my jaw dropped at the requirements. XP farms like this are pretty much essential to upgrade skills needed to complete research, and I now regret a failure to collect or even sell off the resources required for the actual mods. There looks to be YEARS of play in this. I've even ignored CP'77 2.0 so far because I'm becoming deeply invested in this

You're so right brother. I was playing the game for the exploits and glitches. I got over a million credits credit from the case glitch, but damn it was a grind. Slow process of selling weapons. Traveling overweight. No fast travel. Glad I came across this. Now I can go and enjoy the game for what we all were waiting for.

This is probably the best news since the dropped that patch today. I'm only level 42 but I don't really need to get too many more skills. I got sick of farming those Filterers on Stryx-I so this will be some welcome hunting of both man and beast!

I sort of do the same, but in space, hunting starships, getting XP, loot and cash in one go. Normally i start with missions of "Destroy X" and as soon as i'm level 12 i know i can head out to Serpentis, or similar places. I do like the space combat and shipbuilding side of the game, most of all. It's the part where, IMHO, Starfiield is more unique. So i do most of my action in space blasting or/and boarding ships.

Schrodinger system the Swarming Foxbat are another animal to farm they swarm you in packs and they give a lot of exp and if you do the zoology you can farm them as well just throwing that out there cause I actually like the foxes and farming serpentis system flying to each area you can just open combat with enemies all the time there each place you fly there you are guaranteed a battle which also give a lot of exp. If you want to level your piloting it’s a good spot

I don't remember what planet it was but I found one with these Whaleshark things that gave out a lot of XP. They kept showing up all over. Hopefully I made an outpost so I can find that one again too

I'm level 58 atm, not going to build a single outpost till NG+10, I've done every side faction quest, only added fuel and shielded cargo for my ship. Wanted to go through the game as intended and get as high level naturally as I can before I go into grind mode. Figured after I exhaust all the side quest, I'll mess around with NG stuff. Not going to spend a huge amount of time to just lose it all after each NG... I do enjoy alien hunting, get perched up on a tall rock or sum and pick off everything in sight. I want to max a few of my skills before I even start a NG. prob will get close to level 100 before i even think about it.

Thanks for the clip and the heads up, I agree with you totally and also with Tom Tom below. I guess its how you want to play at the time. For me, all of the games that I've played that have in game money ( GR Breakpoint / GR Wildlands / Red Dead / Farming simulator) , have all been about how much money or credits that you have in your bank. Call it what you will but cash enables you to buy most good interesting things within the game be it Space ships (Starfield) Guns and attachments (GRB /GRW) or tractors (Farm Sim). It also depends on your timeframe and also your perseverance. I spent a lot of time in RDR collecting and selling items although I did fall into the Rockstar trap and in the course of 18 months in game spent over £80 in real money on gold bars. I guess its horses for courses. I saw a clip on how to farm contraband at neon and I ran that exploit for 4 days doing 8 hrs per day (32 hrs total) and gained over 11.000.000 credits, enough to buy me anything I want when I level up. Some of you may say that that is just a waste of my time, however my time is my own to do as I wish with. The XP Farming is like hunting and I agree XP Safari's sound a good idea. There's some great people playing this with some good ideas, shame its not multiplayer

Exactly what I was looking for. I went on safari early on to get xp. This is the Big Hunt version.

If you want to max all the combat perks for both ship combat and ground combat, you'll need over two hundred points... Then there is ship and outpost building... I'm level 270 right now, and it didn't take that long using the animal husbandry XP farm. P.S. I can guarantee there are perks you want, but don't even know it because you haven't tried them all.

I agree with what you said . I've done very well , got lots of credits, XP and cool gear just exploring and having fun .

aint gonna lie my first play through i did all the same things with min maxing as quickly as possible. All it served to do was to make most of the game trivial. I restarted my character and just taking it slow. Doing activities as they pop up. Doing faction quests when they become available. Running missions for creds, or farming gear from "abandoned" places. Only real mods i use are shipValueAdjust and StealthOverhaul. Just makes the game amazing for getting realistic value for ships you bring in with out the huge registration price.

Huygen IV is similar. .43 gravity (super fun to jump around) tons of 2-8 alien herds, super easy to kill, BEAUTIFUL environment. I gained 5 levels in an hour and a half

What’s the name of the weapon you are using ?. I been to this planet before when i was i think 14 or and those roaches kick the shit outta me . Don’t remember what i went there for . Glad i watch this video because i’m going back and now i’m ready .

I like playing the game to level up as well, when you find something like the roaches yeash kill a bunch get a bunch of xp and keep going. I also scan all the planets and then sell the data to Vlad.

finally an xp method I actually want to use. I'm almost level 30 and have a C class ship I am really happy with. But to add more crew to my ship and to start taking advantage of the ship skills is such a huge xp sink. but when looking up xp methods people keep saying build outposts and do genocide. seems really boring. might be something I start doing later once I actually want to do outposts.

Just visited this planet. Ram through about 2,000 rounds and gained 5 or more levels. Really like the biomes here too.

These things are creepy as all get out! One jumped out at me & I screamed so loud, LOL! I love exploring everything in Starfield!

If you use (Very Hard) difficulty, I believe the monsters scale better to your level. I'm over level 100, and luckily having the game set to (Very Hard) regularly spawns 110 monsters. If the mobs are giving too much trouble, just set it back to (very easy) all spawns are set on map load in, so the kills will be faster but the NPC levels and drops are still at the higher setting

He meant it was the highest XP per Domestication once you have it up and running. I found other enemies that gave more XP but they were tankier, attack faster and would make farming more difficult. I think for their size and difficulty they are the highest bang for buck to farm, (if you set it up) but not having Planetary Habitation makes it impossible to build an outpost on Pyraas VIII-b

I discovered this system over the weekend. I can finally grav jump to it. So I explore a little bit. I realized that the life form on Fermii spawn relatively quick.

The problem comes when you start reaching lvl 100+ Even if you are not at all interested in getting all the skills, there are over 300 skill points to allocate and that first 100 runs out fast, no matter what you find yourself interested in. I really hope there was a better way to level but the amount of exp I need right now is so insane, that doing tier 1 crafting (Adaptable Frames / Isocentric Magnets / etc.) at an outpost is painfully slow. If I really want to open up more skills I'll have to make something like what Vash Cowaii did in his endgame outpost video. When comparing exp farms it's good to remember that even the most basic tier 1 crafting with aluminium and iron will net you 99 exp per craft and even without macros or autokeys you can click about 2-4 per second easily. In between you sit down for less than a minute and how often you have to sit down is only dependent on how many storage containers you bothered to build. When you want loot I recommend the Freestar Rangers mission board but I'm not saying it's more efficient or fun than this.

Treat NG+ like RDR2 before arthur dies. Make a save to stay with your old character and explore. And make a different save for NG+ Reset

What I do is just go to a high level planet, set it on really hard difficulty, land on the planet, set it back to normal and then go explore and kill the alien life. The aliens will give me the XP that I need to level up fast while exploring will give me the loot while at the same time having fun. When I saw the video of domesticating aliens it seemed boring.

I think power leveling takes away from the looping of game anyway. I slowly increasing difficulty every couple of loops and it's kept the game stimulating. To jump to max level would kill the journey. I actually do have skills needed but only because I started on easy and focused on getting all recipes and been able to farm all materials as a priority. It meant even easy was tough towards end of loop but it was worth it.

idk if this can help the animal husbandry xp method or not but destroying the animal husbandry facilities then repairing it will insta spwan more animals. I guess it all depends on if it uses resources to repair it because idk.

It will be interesting to see how some of the gameplay is improved by modders. The native fauna is uninspired and repetitive, but modders can fix that. Piracy and ship combat have a decent foundation, but need improvement. Modders might be able to do something with that too. Heck a good modding team could do a total conversion revolving strictly around being space pirates.

Have you found the varuun rifle yet. I randomly found one on a weapon rack in an abandoned robotics lab.

Someone needs to make an Alien lure Mod that you make in the Pharmacy Table. That way you can attract them to you so you can gather them on the hunt.

Ive found that going to a highly populated city and hiding extremely far away and picking of guards and civies actually gives a lot of xp and items. Not an insane amount, just way more than i expected, and its pretty fun too if youre playing an evil character.

Whenever doing a mission or side quest I often do this.

What was the most xp you got from one of them? I have gotten 100+ on Enlil 2 and those run in packs too

I'm level 87 after about 8 days of play.. and one thing that bothers me is how crap the xp is from missions.. I literally spend 2 hours doing a quest of some sort .. for like 100xp..when I can craft 99 frames for 99xp .. one takes seconds one takes hours

Another good planet is Huygens VII-B, it’s a level 75 system but it has two herding type flying animals that give 25-130+xp and they spawn in giant groups. I prefer it over the land fauna because I can see groups of these guys from hundreds of meters away and still 1 shot them easily with my sneak/concealment perks.

The Savannahs of Rutherford III are my XP stomping ground. All the fauna there except the floating jellyfish are dicks.

The only thing i wish is that there were intelligent alien humanoid type of aliens. Its kind of odd to me that there arent any (at least as far as im aware of.) Youd thonk they wouldve had that element in some form.

You know what, I seen those xp farm things but I was like meh... no... I am level 70, doing NG+ 5 at the moment. I don't like grinding but I also am kinf of a completionist a bit so I will try to finish if I can and don't get sick of the game. Nevertheless first run I did all quests I could find and all interactions so I'm fairly confident I did most of those things but I am looking to do the 10 "mandatory" runs and settle down a bit. Do more exploring. I ddi some lvl60 planet exploration when I was level 25-30ish, it was a bit hard and used a lot of ammo and some deaths but it was good exp. I noticed some mobs are quite easy to kill as they are passive so I imagined I could find some planet with herbivores or something and run around and kill, or just find random pirates. I often see ships landing, I would sometimes try and steal a ship if I can. People complain that the generated content is NOT varied enough, way way too few types of encounters, buildings and all that and that may be true, I wish there was a bigger variety there but I will surely end up exhausting this aspect some more later on. I just play normal and at level 70 I didn't use any chjeats at all. I did install some of the mods like eliminating the stupid loading screen animations for landing / takeoff, removing some useless delays like dialogue interaction delay which may technically be 'cheats' but imo are just things that should be part of the base game. In any case it's a game that does not need to be played with xp or other exploits. I had 1 million credits when I went ng+ that I didn't use (was still using an A class ship I built from scratch for about 150k).

Ah way out there. Do we have to get past Kryx to get there? I’ve yet to pass.

Finally a RU-vidr that has found fermi lll haha I've been farming xp on this planet before all these craft farms or alien farms on that other person that said they found fauna that gives the most XP I'ma just say both of use are wrong xenomorphs give far more and if you explore abit more in the high level systems you will find a planet that spawns them happy hunting
