Check this out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T2Tkm0sM6K0.html Bessel 3 is NOT better and the CREDITS YOU SPEND is irrelevant. 1) You start the game with over 10k and make millions in minutes with many different methods. Spending "950" means nothing. 2) Bessel is harder to find the pairing of materials due to more materials present. Also the vids recommending Bessel have you SLOWLY construct where this one has you plop it all down and be done. 3) People are generally stupid so Androphon is as idiot-proof as it gets. 4) Yes there are MUCH better xp farms but they require extensive time to set up and are confusing to follow. If you NG+ you lose everything anyway so no reason to ever use one unless you wanna push 200 levels. 5) I made this to shave time off a different video I'm making as this info isn't exactly new. I also make videos for a future version of myself that forgets so I can retain some of the time I waste on these games. I can understand my own instructions better than how others have currently explained it. 6) When i tried the Bessel method it took me way too long and way too many restarts to find the proper spot to place down the outpost where the resources were available. With Androphon I can get it every single time without reloading. If the Xbox bros can't replicate it or gen Z / gen A players get impatient that can't use the video and will move on to something else.
just a heads up @SwoleBenji u can delete landing zones by building an outpost right next to your ship then deleting it when you take off it will be gone :). thank you for the info and the vid :)
I don't think this works anymore I'm not getting any exp I am also very slow not trash talking or being negative just kinda feel silly after watching this for a full hour took me 2 hours and 6 repeats before it was what I thought correctly
This game needs a true north when you land so when you place a landing zone you have a reference of which direction to run in general to find those ore veins.
There's a compass on your constellation watch that can be used for precisely this purpose. It's only visible when you're not using your scanner though - bottom left of the screen - you can see it when he's on Jemison right at the start of this video. North is the thicker, bolder tick mark that's spinning around the image of Jemison in the bottom left.
Landing spots aren't forever. There are at least 2 ways to get rid of them. 1: There is a maximum number of landing spots on a planet, like 5-6. So you can force them to cycle that way. 2nd: Land at landing spot, build outpost as close to your ship as possible, then delete it. Landing spot gone.
I love that you and Kibbles are shouting each other out as co-creators, I enjoy both your channels for my video game tips and tricks. Liked and watched in full keep up the goodness sir!
That's how its done... Some other youtuber is so high of himself and talks the others down, even calling names and finds his guide is the best. I say just watch videos and enjoy yourself and decide what's best for you. That said... i think SwoleBenji, beside being respectfull is highly entertaining and has very detailed and usefull guides. Keep on keeping on bro!
For all those Xbox players: As already mentioned quite a lot, you can max out the amount quicker by pressing right on the d-pad and holding the left stick to the right while constantly banging the RB button. But wait, there's more. 😬 You can speed things up even more by holding right on the d-pad before clicking A. So just hold the damn right button all the time and it'll be faster. It will start between 10 and 20 instead of 0. Hope that helped 😎👍
As a 80s kid your videos hit the sweet spot missing in so many other RU-vid creators content channels. Taking the time to put it all in context while describing and informing of interest points, important things, random things m, what this does what that does all while putting all that into motion as a strategic guide. I mean man I’m just saying did you help out with the prima elder scrolls books bc you literally could write one of those. Your that good! Thank you! Your niche in hitting the middle ground casual gamer audience couldn’t be better but you also toss in the advanced as optional! Literally thankful and blown away at the same time after finding too advanced without context or way too high level with somewhat of a context but not really. Big props
Doing this with a controller is brutal. Crafting 99 takes like a full 10 seconds of mashing RB. Finger falling off before you even get one level. And judging by Bethesda’s speedrun to remove the puddle glitch, I’m going to assume we’re never getting a “craft max” button.
I play on PC. With an Xbox controller, a keyboard, and a Razor Tartarus game pad. Some parts of this game are so much better with a controller but some of it really needs the KB.
I'd already set up this outpost thanks to Kibbles (respect the shoutout btw) but I really appreciate that you did a full 'deep-dive' into it along with the actual figures to go along with it. I'm cruising around at lvl 46 atm but, after watching this, I'm heading back to Androphon to get 60. Thank you.
Kibbles is cool and all but i really appreciate your style and formats so please continue to post these and every other cool thing you find in this game ❤❤❤
@SwoleBenji The limit to connections is 60 in a sequence. If you go from extractor, to 58 containers, then the Transfer Container, you're fine. One more connection, it starts to bug out.
I managed to put down 11 storages and I’m able to get 1.5 levels per sleep cycle. I had to sleep 11 hours to fill up. Once I surveyed the planet I only had to sleep about 9 hours. One container was at 98%.
@@SwoleBenji Okay, figured out how to do this. You have to put an outpost at the Landing Zone. So right after you get out of the ship. Set it, remove it, go into space. I did it on Bessel III-B where I already have an outpost and it was removed. I love this because now I can just travel to an outpost without having to go into the world Map.
Each planet will only hold 5 landing spots. so if you mess up your landing spot for an outpost. Just fast travel across the planet till you have five landing spots. The original one you want to go away will disappear,
Once again thank you mate. Everything in this video I have seen before but the simple way you explain it sinks in so I understand it. Also I can buy whatever I like by exchanging 37 calibrated grendels that I have from another one of your videos. Cheers
Spent most of my Saturday looking for Iron and Aluminum but couldn't find it. Found a spot on Sunday. Reminds me a lot of Skyrim iron dagger quick leveling. Thank you for this video!!
A planet/moon will only retain 5 Landing Spots. I mean saving before you land is smart, but they don't last forever, just the most recent 5. For those that didn't save first, they can just land on the opposite side of the planet 5 times to free up the landing area they want.
On console it takes way longer you have to hold button fill up the bar to 99. Sometimes it just stops recognising you’re holding it and you just have to accept 67 or back out and go again. Still much appreciated.
Hold the LS to the right when you select "Craft". Then keep it held while you use the RB to move the meter to the right. It's not as fast as playing on PC but it's much faster than relying on the D-pad alone.
Thank you! This is the first time any of this has made sense to me, All the other explanations I've watched were for some reason just incomprehensible.
You can use the weapon case glitch to possibly get a legendary weapon after looking through 1000 weapon cases but you can do it at level 1 sir if you got the credits. You just have to go to a planet thats level 75 then turn the difficulty up to very hard before you spawn them in. Remember to save before you build them
I think they nerfed it or I'm missing something. I may started at a high level but I only get between 1-9 xp per frame I make when the video shows each one around 100 xp or so. I'm lvl 35 is that the reason the xp is much lower?
My guess is that is rapid speed of crafting is then showing around 10 sets of 99 (+bonus xp%) giving the 1000 plus xp. I can't click that fast, and usually get maybe 2 sets showing up at once yielding around 216 (108 per 99 times 2). If I do one set, I can see 108 xp, and if I miss and only get 1, I see 1 xp (1.1 obviously rounds down). I wonder if there is a mod to speed up the crafting times?
Nice video. Very easy to understand. I plan on doing this for those times where I find myself having a lot of skills to level up but just out of skill points. One question I have though, for other Bethesda games (skyrim in particular) you can cheese 100 stealth at the very beginning at the game and get to a high character level immediately. The issue you run into though in that game is that your equipment being the low level stuff and the enemies matching your level make the game nearly unplayable. Is that the case in Starfield? Will every enemy you encounter be level 60-ish now but you are stuck with a Grendal that does 3 dmg per shot? Or is it because the game just relies on skills so much that the weapon itself doesn't really matter too much?
No, enemies are level capped to the zones level. They don't scale. They also only use better equipment in the higher level planets. Also in this game you can take on a level 98 pirate lord at level 4 with a magshear if you want and kill it in a few seconds. Games kinda too easy.
@@SwoleBenji Oh wow thanks for the fast reply! That is good to know because the biggest annoyance I have with this game is the early levels, you seem to upgrade the skill cards so dang fast but never have the skills points to upgrade them all so this is a great way to kind of boost that a little bit. I also like how you showed the materials list for this video. You got a new sub for sure :D
Finding Starfield far too easy on normal skill level, easy kills everywhere so at level 35 I'm going to level 75 systems only too find its still too easy 😂 I'm so rich and have nothing to spend it on and that's without cheating at all. Next play through be on very hard.
Great info vid, welk done and thanks. What really did create a "Now why he do that?" was at one point just prior to placing the Outpost beacon you had H3 as well as the three you now have. The questiln is why not place it there si as to be able to have the H3 abd then set up the 2 you didn't? My thought process being you stated that tungsten you needed much more and with H3 you can fuel up the haulers. I love how by spanning the upper storage containers you get a base beliw that solves the terrains ekecarions and obstructions. LoL with 4 ressources and that trick could be a sweet setup to create a walled compound and the bounty hunters then have a choke point to traverse to get in. Hmmm niw thats a vid i want to see .. lol
I wish you could craft that fast on console. The fastest I can make it go is by pushing right on the left stick while pushing right on the d pad AND tapping right bumper. It's still 10 times slower than the pc way. 😢
Is the lady who works at the mercantile the daughter of the woman who runs the trade authority shop in the well? basically same character model with different age levels.
hold tf on, you can teleport your sh*t to your ship without being at your ship?! I didnt have to slow walk 500lbs to loot across the planet and waste 20 minutes?!
What's weird is that my aluminum output halved at some point. I rested in 8 hour bunches to keep an eye on the resources and it went from 700 something to 500 something and is now at 350-380. Even added a sixth extractor to try and compensate. Edit: Figured it out. Posting so nobody else is a dumbass. Aluminum containers were slowly filling with berylium because of a shared link to a ship transfer module. I didn't think it would count as 'storage' and cross link. Whoops.
I started an outpost and got the quest to send iron and cobalt to New Atlantis for a quest. After 45 minutes of floundering, I got frustrated and quit that game. I could not figure out how to get the cargo ships to fly and how to deal with the Helium-3 issue. The cargo ship is still just sitting there not moving since I don't know where to put the Helium-3 for the ships to use.
That linking on containers is a pain on xbox - so its box one linked to box 2 and box 2 linked to boxed 3 etc or is is it box 1 linked to box 2 and box one linked to box 3 etc confusing
Thanks for sharing, Swole. Awesome tutorial!....And I love that you're a good friend to fellow RU-vidrs by mentioning 'Kibble's Gaming' (I like him too. Great channel for sure). 👍 PS. The video on the right.....are you referring to the one called "Life in the Ghetto and it's many different Factions"?
My work benches are all "obstructed" so I can't use them. Even tried deleting the outpost and starting over. No good. I gathered all the resources from the containers and dropped them in my ship, then flew to Akila where there's a work bench at the ship depot, craft stuff there, then fat-walk everything into town to sell. Very cumbersome and dumb, but it's the only thing that works. I can also make 5000 credits each time too, so there's that I guess.
The workbench is covered is a current glitch with outposts. Next time that occurs just save and reload the save and it should correct. Here is hoping they fix that in future patch
So in order to get that kind of exp for crafting adaptive frames, did you raise any certain skills? So far I'm level 9 but building adaptive frames I'm getting like 8xp per each
No requirements means no level requirement, no story progression, no powerful ship to reach further planets, no getting lucky on a 1/60 chance to get the right resources to spawn in the same circle, no rng. What requirements are you thinking of? Early purchases?
Luckily in outposts you don’t have to “connect” power it simply provides X amount of power. There are switches that allow you to control which buildings are powered though (for example husbandry buildings) but it is not necessary to connect power to a simple adaptive frame farm such as this.
So I’m getting 99 exp for 99 frames and it’s nightmarish to reset the counter using a controller. Any idea what’s causing the first or how to overcome the second problem?
keep the mouse hovered over where the 99 is and spam e, then click. Can do it quick but 99xp per click is ok. I swear it was a lot more a while back. Im on the beta branch right now btw
Why when I do this, have I got no options for extractors? I don't get them on the yellow top bar & I have scrolled through the whole lists & no extractors are there! do I have to level up something?
@@SwoleBenji I have placed them exactly like in your video, shows both resources when I put my outpost down but I have no extractors at all in list, I did wonder if it was a glitch but if it is, I can’t do nothing at all
@@SwoleBenji ya, steal card n make bank. Slooooooowly lol Me? I turned off my internet to Xbox. No more glitch fixed lol You uninstall starfield? Reinstall starfield after few days off internet? No more glitch patches lol N don't update
Just fair warning, if you are wanting to experience the game with any sort of sense of accomplishment this is basically just turning on god mode and might take away from your enjoyment. Like setting out to summit a mountain and on the way somebody offers you a helicopter ride straight to the top. Goal achieved... but at what cost lol? 😁
No I'm just working on a long form video and instead of making it 3 hours long I plan to be like "Okay so here's a video that explains how to X" This is a single player game so I have no reason to keep any kind of exploits secret. For multiplayer games those become member only videos assuming the game company isn't weird about paywalling content.
@SwoleBenji I have watched all of your Starfield videos. They are very informative, and you are hilarious. I am glad to support great content creators. Keep them coming!
If you have the small landing pad, it can only accommodate up to a certain length/width of ship. I completed the Ranger quest line and my Star Eagle didn't fit on the small landing pad, so I had to upgrade. The one with the ship builder should hold any ship (I believe anyway).
Again it’s a glitch that is known (and hopefully rectified with an upcoming patch. To make your ship appear go to the console on the ship builder and modify ship and then exit and your ship should be there
@@bullshark1152”need” is a bit strong. It’s a way to gain massive amounts of XP and also start leveling several key physical skills (he has a video explaining that process that is quite good as well)
@@bullshark1152 you can sell them or use them for other outposts you will construct. Adaptive frames are basic building blocks. The sheer amount you make however would mean spending weeks selling them to the limited amount of vendors with their restricted credit limits.
Ah I get it now. You're doing it so quickly that it's showing the cumulative count. I had to change from 2 mouse clicks and 1 'E' to 2 "E's and 1 mouse click and it's much quicker. Thanks.@@SwoleBenji
Why bother? Games like this are about the journey, not the destination. If you start the game with a lvl 200 character and a gazillion credits, what's the point in even playing? 🤔
Because at level 200 you’d still have 184 skills to unlock 😊 Game is too big, and progresses too slowly for me to ‘not exploit it. Boss fights don’t even give you 1/10th of a level in xp. Of course I’m going to cheat lol.
