Intellijel has a number of input and output modules made to work with the case jacks on both the Palettes and the 7U Performance cases. In this video we walk through the various options.

Love 1u tile modules. My larger case has 1u rows and helps free up space for larger modules in case.

You can also go to the Intellijel website and check the manuals for more detailed info. Plus many of these modules have their own separate videos.

Great video as always. I love that the Intellijel 1U ecosystem is growing. Can you please elaborate. on the XY? I have no idea what it does.

It looks like a 3.5mm substitute for the case jacks for use with Pedal I/O 1U or Mixup, with the added benefit of being able to connect to Mixup's 3-pin in and out simultaneously (which I assume means it sends to Mixup, and receives Mixup's output).

It is quite sad that the Headphone 1U does not have the 3 pin header to connect to the case's output jacks. Especially with the Palette, where space is really tight, having to use both the Stereo Out 1U and the Headphone 1U is eating up too much space. Plus, I need to use 2 multiples or stackcables to feed the stereo audio signal to both the Stereo Out 1U and the Headphone 1U. Please, Intellijel Designs Inc., can you make an updated version of the Headphone 1U, which connects to the case's output jacks? Bonus points will be awared for adding a small switch to break the connection to the case's output jacks ( = mute main out). Thanks much in advance, keep up the great work - and stay healthy, everybody! P.S. Sorry for posting this to both YT and FB. Please take this as an indicator how much I'd really love to buy such an updated Headphone 1U module.

Do you have the old version of the Headphones 1U? The new version has a 3-pin connector to receive the Stereo Line Out 1U's input. No Stackcables necessary.

Seems like it would make more sense to have the 1u at the bottom (especially with a Steppy 1u). I see a few folks use these cases upside down for that reason.

Can I connect the XY module just as a passive, 1/8 jack to 1/4 inch jack adapter?

I really do hope that 3pin jumper-cable comes with the Headphones 1u module? I just ordered one for my 7u case

Yes, the 3-pin Link cable is included with Headphones 1U, Mixup, Pedal IO, and the new Stereo Mixer 1U. Stereo Line Out and Stereo Line In 1U each come with the 6-pin ribbon cable.

If headphones 1U can't be connected to 7U cases, what do?

The jumper on the back of Headphones 1U is an input, not an output. It's meant to connect to the Stereo Line Out 1U so it provides a copy of whatever you send to the main output.

Does the headphones 1U simultaneously let you use the built in case output jacks or do you need the output one too? And what do you suggest for like... Compression or limiting of signals in the chain? Considering just a Mutamix before the final output too. No idea what to do to make it truly stereo or 100 percent what I need yet, but ??? *shrug*

The jumper on the back of Headphones 1U is an input, not an output. It's meant to connect to the Stereo Line Out 1U so it provides a copy of whatever you send to the main output. It does not connect to the case jacks. Jellysquasher is Intellijel's only compressor module, but it's possible to set up compression type responses from VCAs if you want. Mutamix would work as a final mixer and you can set it up to work as a stereo output since it has 3 outs. Like, can you still connect it and just use it as a headphones out at the end of the signal chain if you patch the two inputs of the headphones module? Thanks btw. Can't sleep and might order a thing before I sleep.

Just misunderstood. So the headphones and output modules can connect if need be. Super cool that I can do this in steps still. Thanks for the advice. I just am sick and wanna use my performance case in my bed and have no true output lmao

Honestly it's bullshit that this company includes a midi port on this case which doesn't work unless you buy their $200 MIDI 1u module, which is the same price as the entire Cre8audio Niftycase WHICH INCLUDES MIDI FUNCTIONALITY. Completely unjustifiable pricing.
