Alright, this is what made me cave. I thought about using it in the same way but wondering how it would have all meshed together. And it does… very well. Nice. Come on payday
Damn Sick But, imma get the quad vca & buffmult next 🤓 I’d love to make a vid with you guy with heavier sounds. Dubstep & house producer of 16 years 😵💫🙏💟
@@goonfish thanks for the response! Great content. :) When the boat comes in and I go modular, intellijel is the way I'm going. The cleanest, most creative collection of modules I've seen thus far.
I’m fine with Mono - I think the stereo implementation on some pedals is arbitrary, and in any case my stereo FX tend to be end of chain rather than send. What I would like is a clock input for the LFO, as without one I’m unlikely to use the internal LFO.
Looks really flexible. Could you chain two or more Amps together and use them with Steppy to cycle through Plonk's presets through the mod destination?
Expression output is a wonderful add on, very messy to get to work otherwise and runs the risk of damaging a pedal. An env. follower on the input would have been nice, my Doepfer input module makes for some really dynamic sounds when going into the modular with a gtr/bass!
It's confusing that these videos are coming so long after modules have been released. I've had Stomp for almost a year! I mistakenly thought Amps had just come out when its video was posted recently. Anyway, Stomp is great! At first I did wish it was stereo, but Intellijel's reply on the other comment provides a reasonable explanation for why it's not. I ended up getting a Noise Engineering Nive Grad for stereo signals. I like Stomp's interface and feature set more, but they're really different use cases, I guess. I can still use Stomp for expression control even when Nive Grad is handling the I/O.
If stereo, we would need at least two more jacks (mini jack stereo pair in and stereo pair out) and the wet/dry circuit would need to be stereo which requires a lot more parts. This would make the module HP bigger and we wanted to keep this compact. Most modern stereo fx allow for line levels i/o and have built in wet/dry which means you could use our Audio I/O module to interface with them instead.
