I love my 9760! I have nothing bad to say about the 9500 I moved from. But this 9760 just eats corn and does everything I need it to do. Thank you for watching! Very nice to meet you as well!!
Be proud of what you have. We’re in the top 5% of the top 1% 😂 as far as Illinois farmers go when it comes to acres being farmed, and we run 9670 and 9770’s. Most comparable operations run 2 or 3 class 8 or 9 machines, but we’ve been on the green / regen-organic side since before it was a thing. We pull out some great yields over all, but the big daddy corn that works the combine the hardest, our yields are notably lower. To put more money in to higher capacity would be silly. Plus, we’re growing so many different crops and that spreads harvest times out so much. I could probably get it done with a couple of walker Deere units. On the planter side, we’re running 2 DB90’s. For what I have in those, I could buy a dozen 9770’s, but they make our 30/90’ controlled traffic method work. Your the most important kind of operation in farming their is, or else Bill Gates will have it all.
I’m super happy with it! I kind of wish I’d know more of its back story. It was originally sold in Minnesota, but I bought it from a dealer in Iowa. But I agree, whoever, and however many had it, certainly took good care of it.
You don’t ever want to always know the backstory on used equipment it’s kind of like women do you really wanna know their whole backstory oh wait that’s right that actually might be a good idea 😬🤣
