This was really fun to do. The multiplayer clearly isn't outstanding but it's not bad either. It's definitely a tagged on mode the publisher demanded. For that it's actually pretty good.
@@emileofbioshock Did you even read my comment? I never said anything about the game itself. Not if it's good or bad. I had no opinion about it. But whatever I guess. Better game then Bioshock 2? Fallout New Vegas. Hands down. Not even debatable. I still love Bioshock 1 and 2 but it's hard competing with one of the best games ever made in history. Yes new Vegas is really that good.
@@emileofbioshock Dude the Bioshock 2 multiplayer is just a tag on. You understand that right. This game came out during a period in time when publisher demanded EVERYTHING has a multiplayer so they can put it on the box. This game doesn't have the worst multiplayer for a game that wasn't even suppose to have one. It's fine. But nothing special. Ok here we go: Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield Bad Company, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Call of Duty Modern warfare, call of duty modern warfare 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, Call of duty Black Ops 1, Call of duty Black Ops 2, Titanfall, Pretty sure I can name more but that should be it. Also I tried to pick games that came out at around the same time. Although my memory is a little bit hazy when it comes to release dates. I think they are close together. Don't quote me on that. But yeah all of them are better then the Bioshock 2 multiplayer. Because the developer actually wanted to make them. The bioshock 2 multiplayer is kinda similar to the Far cry 2 multiplayer. Not bad but nobody wanted to actually make this.
@@requiemagent3014 Bro, look at the guys channel. That's literally all he plays. It goes back a year of almost nothing but Bioshock 2 multiplayer. I've never seen anything like it.
My absolute favorite gaming memory comes from playing the special mode “Would you kindly?” Because it was just a full lobby of people bum rushing each-other with golf clubs and beating each-other’s brains in

This man is fully committed with this series and I respect that. Also, can you imagine people's faces at Microsoft when the xbox bioshock servers were filled with people out of nowhere lmao
I just want to say. I never comment on videos… but I absolutely love this series and I really hope you continue it. Genuinely it’s so beautiful seeing old games come back alive that we’re once a memory and you getting the achievements I thought was impossible.
I really love this series, both bioshock and this video series. Hearing your stories from when you were younger, and seeing some of my favorite games being finished to a 100%, it's just really awesome!
Is there a list of the games left to complete? I'd love to participate in other games that I missed out on, and I love the idea of jumping into these now-dead multiplayer games. Doing that with your channel is a really cool and fresh premise for a series. Great to see content creators embracing their community in such fun ways.
I remember playing the multiplayer as a kid and it was actually a lotta fun. Bioshock 1 & 2 will always be my favorites, I really hope we will eventually get another story in Rapture
These videos are so amazingly done. And the amount of hard work and sheer will is one thing which I have a lot of respect for. I have seen the Dead Rising one as well. Have a like and subscription, you deserve much more than 90k.
“But I stuck to it and did my best” idk man I really needed to hear that tho. It’s been a rough while for me and I’ve worked really hard to come out of it better definitely made some progress it’s always met which what feels like more regression tho. Those 9 lil words hit harder than everything else in a long time and given me a much needed breath of life back into this grind of chasing happiness, so genuinely from the bottom of my heart thank you. Ps funny enough a bio shock 2 video is what I find this motivation in the kicker tho is this is my first video of yours
Nostalgia drive will always be my fav series on youtube, Keep it up man you are gonna Blow up in no time, All the hard work and effort is noticed and we all appreciate it
I remember playing Bioshock 2 online years ago and remember it was surprisingly fun. Sunk so many hours playing with the same people who were top of the leaderboards on 360.
Bioshock 2 is my favorite game of all time and I've never had a game bring me deeper into their world than this one. didn't even play the multiplayer I literally just dumped hours into this games story utterly enthralled.
loved the multi for this. you had your own apartment you could visit to customize your character and could interact with various objects within, i loved the role play of being a denizen of rapture
I just found your nostalgia drive videos and I'm loving them so far! The xbox 360 was a little bit before my time, but during the quarantine I started trying to 100% some of the games on my brother's old 360. It's a lot of fun. Can't wait for more of these videos!
Bioshock 2 (and it’s DLC) is a great game in the great series and is my personal favorite Also there was a ultimate rapture edition for the Xbox 360 which has all the dlc for 1 and 2 Also 1 and 2’s atmosphere and level design didn’t seem that different to me though I suppose there were some small differences here and there 2’s multiplayer while not the main draw of the game is still very fun/good So next is Infinite I assume?
Don't like infinite because of Elizabeth is an asshole, no final boss, bad ending for Booker and messy parallel universe concept that developer try so hard to implement into story.
I just stumbled on this channel. This whole video was such a vibe. I find it strangely wholesome how what may seem like a waste of time/money to some people can mean the world to others. This video put me in a better positive mindset after an awful day. Subbed.
Its been so long since I've completed the remastered version of this game so it was fun watching someone complete the same things I had forgot about (besides the multiplayer achievements because the remastered version doesn't have it)
I absolutely love this series of videos! These achievement hunting videos are such high quality and I really enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work and I hope you keep having fun with this! series
I got the achievement back in the day. I had a blast playing the multiplayer. I kind of miss when Xbox 360 games made their own random multiplayer modes like Arkham Origins, Assassins Creed, Singularity, and God Father 2.
Bioshock 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, I don't even know how many times i've played it through. The multiplayer is something I've never tried and watching you play through it, it actually looks like a lot of fun! Maybe i'll try and get some friends to play it with me sometime. Wonderful video :)
One thing I love is seeing people take an old game, get momentum and bring people back to enjoy it again. We did that for Gears of War 2 Horde and seeing full games popping up all over was just so rewarding. It died off again after we were done, but it was so much fun.
Oh my God I'm so glad to know other people out there appreciate BioShock 2 like I do. 1's story was stronger but 2 was still great and those gameplay improvements....wooooo they were so goooood. And I just love Delta and Eleanor!!
No joke I liked and subscribed immediately when I saw the part about you going to get more Xboxes, more bioshock copies, AND more Xbox gold memberships. That was some real dedication, I bet this video took forever. I wish I had something that I was as passionate about as you are about finishing up these games Keep it up man, this was great
Only found your channel yesterday but my god Nostalgia Drive is quickly becoming my favourite series on RU-vid. So many memories watching you play through these games I played while growing up. Keep up the good work man I’m excited for what’s to come!
Love finding channels like this the idea of someone buying dlc from years ago is amazing to me and you had to do it 3three more times is unbelievable and I love that you give a brief overview of the story so good Jew up the fantastic work we really appreciate all the work you are putting in
Back in the 2010-2013 we had intense matches on the ps3 server trying to be at the top of the leader boards, I made it to the top 30 in adam and top 10 in the solo wins but the lagg was always a problem that ruined the game and kept people from sticking around. Wish they would've kept the multiplayer updated it was a very unique game and my very first online game where I met great people that sadly, faded away.
As an achievement hunter myself I can’t explain truly how much I enjoy these videos. This is one of my all time favorite 360 games too. Cheers dude. Great job on the full complete!
This game was a masterpiece in my eyes. I loved the story and the multiplayer was surprisingly good. Bioshock having a multiplayer was questionable to me, so I had low expectations for it. But the multiplayer itself was really fun, not to mention looking for the big daddy suit that spawns, that was exciting to use! I just love the series as a whole, I can't wait to hear about Bioshock 4!
As a young achievement hunter, I went through most of the games on release. Watching you do them in 2022, brings back some good memories of playing with friends and family.
The "good" thing for Gil is not killing him. I thought it was a mercy thing too. And Lamb dying in the end is dependent on how many of the three you kill. Eleanor's overall tone is dependent on how many little sisters you've harvested or saved.
This was AWESOME! The multiplayer mode was one of my favorite ever. I was actually ranked quite high and the community was really great when the game was in its prime. Thanks for the great video! 🤩
Absolutely loving these types of videos can’t stress enough how amazing these are to watch brings nostalgia to me just seeing the games i grew up with get played for there full extent Thank you so much for making these nostalgia drive videos they’re truly the best
Platinumed it yesterday. Hard difficulty was tough until I got to siren alley, I also harvested the little sisters so I had more Adam to distribute (already got the other endings previously)
Bioshock 2 really was the best one in its series sad I played it 15fps on my crappy pc at the time that kept crashing after each level and kept deleting my save files, took me 2 weeks to finally finish the game
I just started watching your videos. I respect your grind. And I can tell youre playing in the am like 1232am with the timezone on the xbox menu. Keep it up 🙌
This series is great but man the commitment is insane. Respect to you. I remembered that I really did enjoy this game a bunch originally even though it was shunned by many. I think it was the thing of seeing the relationship between Eleanor and her Big Daddy that drew me in the most. I also played the crap out of the MP to where I got max level twice. The main thing I remembered from that experience was constantly seeing crossbows/bolt and getting one shotted so it left a sour taste in my mouth.
I'd love to see you go through Dead Space 1 and 2! I remember watching my brother trying to do the One Gun achievement in Dead Space 1 and he though it was also tied to beating the game on the hardest difficulty. At the time he thought was Hard after doing that he unlocked Impossible Mode(IM) the actually hardest difficulty. Also realizing you don't need to beat it on the IM for One Gun achievement. Beating on Impossible Mode is a solid 150g.
Love this series man! Keep it up please! Giving me some great nostalgia feels for the Xbox 360. It was amazing to see the community come together to blast multiplayer along with you.
Dude, I miss BioShock 2's multiplayer. I thought it was a really awesome multiplayer that was chaotic and so much fun. Also, I absolutely LOVE that you use the intro theme from DBZ Budokai 2 in your intro.
I truly enjoyed the multiplayer in this game. It was one of the few MP games I was good at. And actually reached max level in. I wish they added it back into the remasters. Been missing it a lot lately. Though I did find out there is a forum online, it might be on reddit, where people organize play sessions for this game. Probably would have saved you a good amount of money using that.
I wish I could have been apart of the stream. I would love to play Bioshock multiplayer again I loved playing it with my cousin in 2011. I would want to get all of the achievements for it.
another awesome vid ( : out of curiosity, ik you said you wanted to finish game series only, as much as possible. do you include region stacks as well? because bioshock 2 has 6 versions that can be completed..
i remember playing bioshock 2 multiplayer when i was 12 years old for hours and hours on end. crazy how last night i was just thinking about the multiplayer and this video pops up into my recommended.... i think the universe is telling me its time for my annual replay of the series. great video!!!
I was lucky to Plat this game when the multiplayer part was completely dead and there was a extremely rare occasion where Capture the little sister was on. But once you reach that level 50 and witness that cutscene, you know it was all worth it
This man's patience for secret achievements is mindboggling. I know my impatient ass has no issue looking them up. Lot of times they are story, but when they are easter eggs, high chance you won't find them normally.
I'm just happy to see people enjoying hunting achievements and completing games with the maximum amount of satisfaction. Already excited for upcoming projects. Keep it up champ🔥👏
I've always gone for the "Choice Ending." Rescuing Little Sisters until you get the second gift package from them in Dionysus Park, letting Grace live, but killing Stanley and Gilbert.
I haven’t seen anyone mention it but there was a Complete Edition for Bioshock 2, it was a bundle that contained Bioshock 1&2 with all DLC and some stickers and info on Bioshock Infinite. It was called Rapture Edition I think, that was how I discovered the games, by buying that out of curiosity.
there's a Bioshock Ultimate Rapture Edition for the 360 that includes Bioshock 1 and 2 with all the DLC, I used to play that a lot. It's like 10 bucks used for a copy
