Believe me, as it shames me to admit this but I went through my own dark times after doing some light upholstery with a glue gun once. I didn't wear a protective mask & accidentally inhaled the fumes which sent me down a rabbit hole for years of Red Bull binges, double-shot expresso orders & all nighters that saw me wake up surrounded by empty chocolate boxes, pill-containers without a single vitamin tablet left & the detritus left from using the old wacky-backie (which was so wacky that it came in packets covered in French writing & were called "Gitanes"; that's how wacky that backie was!). Thus to my expertly tuned senses, I can detect when these coded drug references are hidden in lyrics like these. I eventually got the help I needed & escaped from my former life by developing a whole new outlook on life & way of living, built around completely new interests & hobbies such as my new found enthusiasm for injecting IV heroin but without the kind help from the local street gangs, I'd still be buying two boxes of Pro-plus pills at a time from the chemists. Dark days indeed, my friend!
