I think you should do a story and rise of Cody Schrader the mizzou running back. I think he leads or is 2nd in the conference in rushing. He ran all over my Dawgs. A hell of a player.
@@Dsr-ge3ioOllie is putting up better stats than Bijan, he might not be a better back, but if he keeps at this pace he has a great shot to win the heisman this year or next
Could you do a “what happened to” video on James Robinson? He was top 5 in rushing with the Jags in 2020, then his career went downhill. Would be a good story
I admired seeing this young man at Ulysses. Trinity perform showing his skills. God gifted talent. I pray for his well-being and I know. God has a great future for him god bless him and his family
Ollie Gordon reminds me of Marcus Dupree, with his big frame, the way he carries the mail, and the way he looks like a man among boys out there. Not sure if he's THAT talented, but hes off to a good start.
Well,UCF won the game. But, it was played in a monsoon. Not many of those to practice in Oklahoma. The QB had a bad game , couldn’t pass, and threw interceptions for tds to UCF. Kind of hard to run against a 8 man front when you can’t pass the ball, and are three tds behind.
“Benchwarmer” and “unknown” is hilarious. Dude was a blue chipper. I really think Gundy was trying to limit carries early-to our detriment unfortunately.
@@BWen3 no, blue chip is a 5 star prospect and it's typically reserved for the higher end 5 stars. Like 2-3 rankings at each position. A 3 star that gets bumped to a 4 star late is not a blue chip.
@@BWen3 a blue chipper is for 5 star recruits and it's typically for the higher end rated 5 stars, like 1-3 at the position. A 3 star that's bumped to 4 star late on is NOT a blue chip prospect. And I say this as a MAJOR Oklahoma State fan and I've been yelling for Ollie to start since last year so this is in no way me knocking him down. He's a beast. But he wasn't a blue chip prospect out of high school
I'll put my guy Jaylin Wright up against anyone in the country right now! GBO!!! All these other guys play a cupcake schedule. My dude is dominant in the SEC! 😮
as an okstate fan it’s so great to see people covering that aren’t necessarily big 12 analysts we don’t get much hype around the country but man it’s great and so is ollie
Yes, but someone reading from a prop wouldn't know that some people that do the videos don't their research, so end up sounding like a bot. Ollie is dual threat RB
He acknowledged the fact he had 100 reception yards in the video.... maybe you should watch the video a little longer. u sound like a bot @@garthstill7665
Its called the "Sooner State"...... I gotta give okie state and coach gundy a hand tho. They beat us in the last one. They strait up outplayed us, we cannot blame the loss on refs, we should have had enough points on the board for those bad calls to not make us lose.
@@UCFFAN407 oh gosh that might be a little rough lol. I’m sorry but we have a Big12 championship to be in 😂 our pass defense is terrible tho. You guys might be able to get us through the air
@@jackson_1312 also its our space game which we 6-0 in also yall prob gunna be forced to wear ur darker unis cause we wearing the all blues, so anything can happen
What Mike Gundy and crew did over the first three games is going to go down as an all time baffling decision. Rotating 3 quarterbacks and splitting the running backs regardless of how the game was going blows my mind! With that being said the next six games has been an absolute juggernaut for Ollie with the amount of snaps he’s playing and with 3 games to go he’s likely to get 90+ touches. That’s a lot of wear on one back. Expect to see Jaden and Elijah getting sprinkled in over the next three as the pokes have a very real shot at going to Arlington to play Texas.
I have a theory that he rotated 3 qbs so that his son could get some playing time. I think he knew that Gunner wasn't going to see the field as a 3rd stringer so he rotated them in to get him some playing time regardless of how the game was going.
Gundy has done some "baffling" things throughout his career at Oklahoma St . . . After Josh Fields' came off the bench against Texas A&M and almost won the game, OC Gundy tells Fields (next week on the Sports Animal radio) he was not going to play him again until he could recite the entire playbook (back to Gundy. Of course that changed in the 2001 Bedlam game probably because Les Miles overruled Gundy) . . .or telling everyone Brandon Weeden was not going to play because he was a terrible "practice" player. . . . Keeling three times to close out the half in Bedlam, with 1:50 left on the clock, with future NFL QB Mason Rudolph under center and with future Biletnikoff winner James Washington as a receiver . . . The 3-QB scheme he tried this season is PAR for the course. Fortunately, Gundy learns from his blunders year to year. I pretty sure we will never see a deliberate, same-game multi-QB team from here on.
I remember when Ollie committed to Oklahoma State, he said he was going to bring the Heisman back to Stillwater. Love seeing him live up to the standards he's set for himself, hope he continues this success for a long while.
Gordon is pretty much trash versus a good defense like Texas. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO RUN ON TEXAS. And his little tantrum shows his immaturity. Miles away from any kind of Heisman.
You who should have seen his rise coming? Mike Gundy. Every OSU fan knew he was great. Gundy was too stubborn to hand OG the ball until he lost to South Alabama. Keep in mind, Mike Gundy used Tyreek Hill as a decoy.
Hi there! Never seen your channel, great stuff! May I offer unsolicited advice? Record your audio in your closet, it will get rid of all the echo and be a free way to make your recordings 10x better! Regardless, gl~!
There are a lot factors for the OSU turnaround including 1) Ollie!! Ollie!! 2) The O-line is finally healthy 3) Gundy and crew simplified the offense to a handful of plays to focus on, 4) settling on a starting RB and QB. All that combined into one of the most dramatic turnarounds in football.
Grundy also needs to change his redzone playbook, All though he might not with Gordon, bcause is run it straight down the middle and a lot of the time that doesn’t work, and teams watch film, but Gordon might succeed down the middle
HAHAHAHA this is so stupid he had a break out game late last season. He was not a bench warmer earlier this year either he was splitting time with 2 other running backs. That was because of the coaches not his ability.
He actually didn’t even come remotely close to breaking CFB 😂 he had some very nice games for half of the season, and disappeared when needed most. Good player, not some world ending talent.
i go to OSU and most of us could tell he should’ve been the lead during the first few games when they refused to give him the ball. how are incredible he actually is has still been a surprise but we were all surprised gundy didn’t get him the ball more sooner
Can you do a video on Dante Pettis… he was a beast on special teams and him and John Ross III were unstoppable for the huskies.. but he disappeared after the draft .. would be a good video idea ! Go dawgs! BOW DOWN
He wasn't a bench warmer. Oklahoma State has been a run by committee offense for more than a decade, because they always have 3 or 4 good backs. Gordon was RB1 coming into this season. He was preforming much better than the other two backs (Nixon and Collins). He basically told the coaches to put the game on his back and they went with it.
Just think about him only getting about 20 carries total in there 1st 3 games. Gundy is a little slow but he finally figured out what he should have known before the season ever started.
He would get my vote but the committee seems to mostly only be interested in talent from non-loss teams. Seems to have great eyes and side to side movement before the burst of speed.
I have a long stride, it still equates to speed as you travel a longer distance in a shorter amount of time. He is fast, your description of him is a description of fast.
@bullgravy6906 speed is judge by time it takes for one distance to another so if you run a 4.3 with fast leg rotation or long strider distance is the same so your run. It doesn't look fast by just looking
