4:30 From what I remember, the Einstein we see in game is not the same Einstein from the intro to Red Alert. He used a "paradox machine" to create an alternate timeline where Hitler is dead since 1923 and we follow the story of that timeline. Later in cutscenes we see from the Einstein we save in the first mission of the Allies that he doesn't remember ever going back in time.
read alert three isnt bad at all. just very chessy. and the animtion is weird. all the units and building are done in like this ultra cartroony stile but the environment is super detailed and reactive. like the thing has waves in water for god sake.
Well to be fair the soviet ending of RA is intended to lead into the original command and conquer game. The game is intended as a prequel after all but they also added a alternative option for those who prefer it in the form of the ant missions which are canon and where you essentially play as GDI before GDI. Basically soviet timeline = Kane exist ,while allied timeline = Yuri exists but the writers smartly decided to leave it to the players to decide what timeline they like most when it comes to the prequel part. The soviet campaign in Yuri's revenge is a banger and the game is worth playing just for that tho allied one had good moments too like mission 2 where you recruit , arnold, stallone and clint eastwood as super units but the final mission in the allied campaign is an utter letdown that you can't lose while the soviet one is a proper challenge with you facing 3 bases producing units of each faction and A.I. doing combined assaults and using stuff like tesla IFVs against you for once. Red alert 3 is an utter cluster fuck BUT the expansion is actually good any you can tell the skeleton crew who worked on that actually wanted to make a good game and loved C&C3 cuz they got rid of the forced COOP BS and did actual missions that played more like C&C rather then starcraft but even worse. Also no shit some of the lore written for the expansion is damn good and instead of being total trashy weaboos about japan they write actual serious lore like one of the best examples is the "archer maiden" unit has a whole short story written seriously about its origin.
