Mouse and keyboard players can do this to without this technology the scripts are just adding macros to a controller like a computer can add macros to a keyboard and mouse

@@robertlyons5761 while your argument is half right, the modern controller spoofing devices do have the ability to make and download script macros for things like no recoil and also are able to mask their mouse and keyboard as a controller in games that restrict their use. button macros are one thing but once you have something assisting your movement and aim then its not really you playing anymore. this is the main issue

the console aim assist argument falls apart with any cross play game, M&K will always be more accurate. this is partially because there is no designated design for controller input across all games, its one of the biggest reason most controller settings are what cause controller players to be worse than they actually are, its an unfortunate side effect of people outright accepting the forced introduction of M&K on console....

What you people don't understand is it can only do what the game can do. If you can physically spam L2 to snap to people, that is because the game allows it (it doesn't anymore). Cronus Zen is just a more advanced rubberband. Even when you use mouse and keyboard in a game with Zen, the game is sending controller. You will never be able to turn faster than the controller.

How else are console players supposed to compete against pc sweats? Not everyone can afford a pc just to get good at a game we might as well get the mods since its just a video game

It's a controller mod that changes the parameters of the game. Aim assist is tuned to make controller vs. M&K closer to fair. Bump up your aim assist and it's cheating.

@@judahfalls7704 is a turbo controller cheating in Mario Party? This device is along those lines and it seems obvious if you mod your game or controller you're cheating. It's just about how much cheating is acceptable. Can pro players use a Cronus Zen? I don't think so, but what about a scuff or elite controller? Those have more buttons than a standard controller giving an unfair advantage over people playing with the standard controller. A Zen is cheating but for now it's slight enough to get away with.

@@cronusmax Believe me I had a lot of fun as I started playing shooter at the age of 29. I never had a PC or console I were only working, playing football and partying with friends all day. So you can know I were always the worst in the lobby. I had the absolute cheapest pc you imagine and never had a mouse in hand before. But I still never considered cheating. I am now 35 and now above average in my skills even at my age. But I learned it the hard way from scratch. I will never be a top player but I hold my ground in every shooter I play now. If I would cheat it would not be fun it would be betraying myself and others.

The only thing that bugs me when zen conversations come up is that PC players always get so pissed about the edit reset macro. I really can't see any problem with such a macro since PC players have scroll wheel reset.

its not the case, more people stop play cuz of cheaters and it have more impact. Also its not so easy to detect bcs you already have some aim assist on controller and how do you find diffeence in 40 and 50 % aim assist, you dont. Thats why people aint banned

You stated correctly in the first place just because you have a top notch pc don’t make you good at the game same with the Cronus zen it won’t give you an advantage it just make things easier just like a top notch pc and 240hz monitors so the second half of the statement is wrong

@@mikepagani6996 having stronger aim assist = better aim which definitely makes you a better player. As far as the mechanics side of the game, the two main actions are building/editing and shooting. Being able to increase your ability to do one of those things using a device is without a doubt an advantage. For example imagine giving kbm players aim assist, obviously that would be cheating because it’s an unintended advantage they are not supposed to have. It’s the exact same thing with a controller player having aim assist above a certain strength. It’s an advantage they are not meant to have. No player in the game is supposed to have no recoil when they shoot their guns. No player in the game is meant to have a macro that presses multiple buttons at once for them. All of these cheats on the zen gives players a competitive advantage that the game doesn’t intend ANY player to have. Also Fortnite themselves have literally already said that using a macro is cheating. They also said “using any kind of cheating device, program, or similar cheating method to gain a competitive advantage” is cheating in their chapter 3 season 3 official rules blog post published 6/24/22. There is no way to justify using a zen with these scripts as anything other than a cheating device. Converting your input device is totally okay, and fortnite agrees (ex. Double movement software) so if you’re using a zen to play with an Xbox controller on a play station or anything like that, it’s all good. But if you’re gaining an unintended advantage from scripts, then you shouldn’t even need a rule book to tell you that it’s cheating.

Better fps does not necessarily give you better performance, aim bot guaranteed will make you much better

Is it though really? By this definition... Is buying an elite controller with paddles and going up against people with a standard controller not cheating? Is playing on a higher spec console that pushes 2-4 times the framerate not cheating? Is using better internet and having a lower ping not cheating? Is match making against a PC user with a mouse and keyboard, or even a macro mouse and keyboard not them cheating? These are slight advantages at best that are probably less than the above advantages. You still have to aim. You still have to be able to play the game. At best maybe it gets you to the top of your skill level but it is not going to make you exceed it. Remember that all these devices can do is blindly press buttons. They cannot create anything that is not already in the game.

@@judahfalls7704 You are forgetting one crucial detail, None of the items you mention add scripts, scripts that can remove all/most recoil along with a array of other things, That is why Fortnite Is doing hardware bans and CallofDuty Is trying to combat it, By all means if you want to use it use it, As it stands right now it is cheating, In your words it is "pulling the stick around a bit like a player would" If I had a program on my pc to do that it would be cheating hands down, "It is lower educated people that are perpetuating" promotion comments like you.

Just because the cheating isn't as blatant or severe, doesn't mean it isnt'. Cronus comparing themselves to something like a Gameshark should be enough to see they get what they're doing ;)

all that needs to be done is find the code it pulls up when plugged in and lock the input from the device before it attempts to spoof the input. The easiest way is to make controller confirmation manually check the controllers analog position and input speed, thumbsticks can only move so far and devices like the mouse and keyboard easily go beyond the possible input a controller can provide The issue is that the devices spoof the controller input for something else. if any of these game companies were smart they would implement security behind controllers, most modern controllers have the potential to have security checks to make sure spoofing them isnt so easy. the main issue is that these evil companies are using the disabled as a shield to hide what they really use devices like the cronus zen for, input scripts and spoofing another input as a controller like Mouse and keyboard. they arent even focused on helping the disabled play games.

aim bot is when they are anywhere on screen and you shoot and the bullet goes right to their head no matter what. Aim assist is when you're almost about to shoot them and it shoots for you. One requires a tiny bit of effort and the other requires none at all. Learn the diff bk. Man it's sad that folks don't know this. I've known this since the halo 2 days almost 20 years ago lololol.

Not tryna be that guy but i am one of the rare ones who never cheated, i guarantee i would have made good $ cheating in tournaments on fortnite. but dignity is worth more then $. im older then most gamers but i still wreck it. 2.5-3kd on fort when i really gamed before i quit ranked top 20-25k in the world. why would i ruin peoples experience who are like me from cheating just to get a bag. i only play occasionally and me learning mouse and keyboard still makes me an excellent player because i always played legit.

also when you get to the top level of "pro" gaming, the smallest advantage is a mile. i have lost tons of gun fights from my aim being natural and im off by 1-2 shots where people i know who zen are beating me.

@@riggatonii I feel you man. I feel like the zen also gives the user more confidence because then aim one less thing to worry about. Knowing they can hit their shots, they can think more about positioning and everything else going on around them and that's literally a skill they get to freely build on. I'm the same I don't cheat but I do use a scuf controller. I wouldn't consider that cheating though. And yes about dignity and integrity.. I want to earn it on a level playing field though I've been tempted to join them but we'll see.

Dude what you and many others do not understand, is fairness went out the window, the moment you people decided to match make console gamers against PC players. And if you play on PC, fairness has never existed. PC gamers will turn off foilage to see better, use wall hacks, aim bots, these things are a 1000 times more powerful than something that is entirely based on macro playback.
