Id say it took me a couple hours to get really used to it, but yeah APM on this is low (at least in PvE) it's definitely different from most other RTS's Ive played!

Unfortunately for me it's still too close to "realistic modern military"... Ever since my own involuntary stay in the army those kinds of games, as well as replaying historic modern wars, make me a bit uncomfortable... :( Which is a shame because this looks really awesome... If it had lasers and spaceships I'd be all over it. Edit: As I look at it closer, it might be astract enough for me to enjoy it...
The guy who made the models for this game also runs a youtube channel were he teaches people who make models in blender, you can find him under the name Imphenzia.

Wtf you mean you been playing for years. It’s dead. You can’t even get a match. Only matches I could get were in demo and right after release. Couldn’t even get a match after 30 minutes of waiting like 3 months ago. Dead game.
@@Kesen2003 Just not true. Been playing almost every day for years. 2.000 hours. Currently playing official tournament, and at this exact moment 103 online players. Is it a big player base ? No, definitely not. But it’s 100% not dead.
Okay dude I got an idea. imagine lasagna. And now imagine lasagna, but in 40k! It would be so much better! I almost get wet just thinking about the smell of Henry Cavill standing in my kitchen, making me the new 40k lasagna in ultramarine blue.
While I missed the sale, I still bought this game and have been enjoying it so far. There’s definitely a learning curve, but I had never heard of this and it fits nicely in a niche I never knew I needed. Thanks for covering! Very entertaining as well. Would love to see you play it again.
@@theShermanator it’s very similar to Total annihilation but with a more updated engine. Handles large scale battles very well with a lot of quality of life improvements that make it easier to handle. Try checking it out if you’re into it; it’s cool to play and amazing to watch
Loved the video @theShermanator! Can't wait for the next video man! Line War looks like a Cross between Axis & Allies and Hoi4, am I the only one who sees this or am I Crazy? Great Game either way and can't wait to see more on the Channel man! Also, Aircraft Carriers are Great to provide Additional Air Support for your Forces. U.S. Navy Maintains a Policy of having no less than 10 Carriers at any given time, since World War Two. I did also get a Hint of "ICBM" in this with the Nukes though. Yooo that's the most interesting war game that i ever heard, and i might need to find that game as soon as i get a pc, because i am a death to the enemy in every strategy game
@@adbp1513 Key word: Multiplayer Beta, the base is fine it just needs tweaking, and like 50% of the units were missing, like Drones for the US. I myself quite enjoyed it with that in mind instead of expecting a complete game, much better than Warno by a large margin.
This game feels similar to Starcraft, just because of the player vs ai part and how you can scale ai. I remember my dad and I would play against the zero with our two respective factions.
Great video, I hope it will introduce more players. Line War has so big vibe of RUSE.. and a bit of Hearts of Iron battle planer, where you draw lines and assign armies etc ;)
This looks really cool, hope there is modding though. Visually it feels a bit like early ravenfield and it but it would be cool to switch up the aesthetic, and shrink models maybe to give it a total war feel.
Ayooo this is what i was looking for months , im to stupid for hoi 4 so i was looking for something inbetween Risk and Hoi4. Was playing Supremacy for a little bit but playerbase is dead , this is looking good :)

this was actually the equivalent of about 2 AI, to match Davidson and I being 2 players, but through the handicap system you can make the AI very difficult!

this is only a twenty minute vid but the tinny "medic!" voiceline was uhhh getting repetitive haha. The PvE mode sounds like this game is getting back on my wishlist!
Does it have singleplay? I quite like the game but the population does not look very good and i still have ptsd when playing online rts from the days grinding sc2's ladder
This was in COOP; but yea you can do solo vs AI too; I wouldnt dare go into PVP myself until I had a firm grasp on the game, feels like I would get destroyed online lmao, coop/sp vs AI is fun however
does anyone else think that the voice over sounds kinda AI? i checked a video from last year and the cadence feels different. The way some words are pronounced seem off aswell ( not in a ESL kinda way either). This is just the Intro btw imo
@@TheShinigami244 lol I tried my best to make the vo intro sound good, cuz its sponsored ofc, I am actually ESL, first language is Dutch But no, I dont use AI for VO or video stuff
Im sorry - however, sales come and go, I would assume the next time it goes on sale again it might be the same % discount, just wishlist it, so it gives you a pop up when it goes on sale :D
Looks cool...unfortunately most of the content and interesting stuff is all TBA. In 2 years they've released a solo/co-op skirmish mode...and not much else. Discouraging.
@@theShermanator That would be even weirder. Usually it's Americans from the southern parts of USA who pronounce it that way. But not exclusively. Nvm. It's just a pet peeve of mine, it doesn't really affect the video in a significant way, there are much worse things that might happen. So... shrug i guess.
I don't know how I feel about this game. Looks interesting, but what you don't see up front is that the game has no singleplayer AI. Its all PvP. EDIT: Apparently they just recently added Singleplayer AI, so I stand corrected.
