Dinwiddie has been pretty bad all playoffs except 1 game against the Jazz. The Suns defense is much better than the Jazz and Brunson getting exposed on defense as well. Bad match up for him. Tho to be fair any team that has Brunson as your 2nd best player ain't a real contender.

@@LakeShowHighlights the problem is not a one game problem, his teammates needs to get in rhythm from ball movements so that they can confidently shoot. These should have been fixed a long time ago. I've been saying it.

The Mavs r a one man show & the suns r in familiar territory. They're trying to right that hiccup from last finals.....anything else is unacceptable!

It’s more so the Mavs have two holes to fill with a wing and a big. That trade deadline deal didn’t help with either but they can try to flip Dinwiddie in the off-season to fill that void. Luka can only do so much against this suns team.

Porzingis trade was not a big win, match up point of view he would have helped them in this series, provided he was healthy. Mavs needs what phoenix has, a wing and a big who are good on both ends. But Mavs needs to do a better job of picking up players when the value is low, like Cousins. McGee to beef up the bigs rotation.

They should of tried to add Rui Hachimura although he was coming back from an injury but when healthy he fills that wing void. @@uldish7395 He can try, but his second scoring option in Brunson has issues against length (which is why he's been playing poorly this series), and Dinwiddie has been awful this playoffs. He doesn't have a roster that can make up for the lack of it. He also lacks a true center, so Ayton and McGee are just feasting on offensive rebounds. It would be possible to beat a lesser team than the Suns without having guys perform, but if your 2nd and 3rd best scorers can't get anything going, there is absolutely no way they can beat the Suns. The Mavs probably need 60-70 from Dinwiddie, Brunson and Luka to stand a chance, 50-55 if Kleber (I would say he's probably their second best player this series so far) can knock down his shots.

@@LOGANTUBE08 He's dropping 35+ a game on high usage rate. It's not realistic to expect someone to play at a high level on both ends of the court when that's happening. When he didn't have to score as much on the Jazz, he played average defense like he has been this whole season. What he needs is Brunson to start playing up to his expected level, then he doesn't have to be involved in every single play and get worn down by the 4th, or play an obscene amount of minutes. It's not just Luka iso for a basket, it's literally every play Luka is involved in, so of course it's going to be taxing. He needs 10-15 from Dinwiddie and 15-20 from Brunson (they are the only 2 who can create their own shots outside of Luka), it would do wonders for his stamina come 4th quarter.

he played 45 mins in the first game. it's good that this game ended early. I like Brunson playing more of the first quarter than Doncic does. The bench unit can't dribble at all so would better with DOncic and Dinwiddie playing the beginning of the 2nd quarter with Kleber or Powell and Bertans and Josh Green.. Shortly after Powell sits in the first, Doncic should rest first. Doncic can come back in around 11 min mark for Brunson.
