The luka and kai no defense narrative is a very easy way to tell who hasn't been watching the games. Kai was literally one of the best defenders in the entire series vs the clippers and luka held his own. If they can do that to 4 HOFers, i dont see why they cant to a younger group.

I'm not a Luka or Mavs fan, nonetheless Kenny saying Luka has been "good" or "great" but hasn't showed like Anthony Edwards is insane Luka is and has been a superstar no hate to Edwards he's a star and on the brink of superstardom Luka has taken his team to the conference finals while not be 100%. He's getting the scoring title this season. I understand the Edwards hype as he and the wolves are dismantling Denver but give Luka KAT and gobert and a good cast and he'd already been an NBA champion.

The Mavericks are legitimate champion contenders. Kyrie has played exceptional defense while simultaneously coming up clutch, & it’s not hyperbole, every single time the Mavericks have needed him (even in losses vs Clippers). My only worry is Luka Doncic, & his style of Harden-esque play during stretches of the game. However, I believe in Jason Kidd & his understanding of playoff basketball.. & that’s just my analysis on the two stars of Dallas. Gafford & PJ are very good role players & willing defenders. That Dallas team overall screams special. That fan base is incredible .. I got Dallas in 6 or 7.

I'm with Ernie and Kenny. I'm taking Dallas. They are playing one of the best basketball these past few months, and Luka and Kyrie were playing excellent defense. Shaq is obviously not watching the games. As to the East, I'm with Chuck. If Boston plays the way they played all season long, and play the brand of defense they've been playing all year, it would be an easy series. Right now, complacency is their enemy. They should play hard and with determination. With or without Kristaps, there is just too much talent in that roster, not to mention excellent defenders.
