I'll *NEVER* understand how people can be so full of themselves. Like I can't think about myself for more than 10 minutes without saying "you can do better than this".
Ronda makes enemies everywhere she's employed. A sore winner as well as a sore loser. It's fascinating to see someone so talented lack so much in sportsmanship and personality.
@@renclave Ronda medaled in the Olympics then dominated another lesser fight club and then went on to dominate UFC for longer than any other female. Yeah, that's talent imo.
You spending so much time talking about Holly make me so happy. I’m from NM and she’s an ICON here. She’s genuinely a kind person and does so much for the community here.
I've always had a soft spot for the fighters in WWE. My mom used to work at a hospital that specialized in cancer. She says the fighters would be in weekly to see the kids.
People saying "you know wrestling is fake right?" has the same energy as someone saying "you know musicals are fake right?" Yeah, duh, but you don't SAY it. It's like announcing Santa Claus isn't real at a kindergarten.
Stop spreading lies. Santa is very real, he even got shot down over New Mexico in 1962 where three deer in his flight ended up dying and the CIA buried all information of it ever happening. Due to these events the CIA was permanently placed on the naughty list and in turn the CIA decided to enact Operation Christmas Coal which involved convincing the general populace that Santa isn’t real.
shes the female connor mcgregor since he got utterly huge and his ultimate downfall was how egotistical he got. Buuuuuuuuuut Rhonda looks a lot like amy schumer🤣🤣🤣🤣 she has the same face but she's just skinnier
When it comes to her in WWE. She was treated like a big deal/ top star from the moment she was hired, and it was forced onto the viewers. To me it was obvious that she wasn’t ready. Her promo skills “talking on the mic” were atrocious, and her wrestling was even worse. She botched moves (messing them up) constantly and had to be carried by veteran wrestlers like Becky Lynch. Most importantly, she couldn’t get over with the crowd (they didn’t like her). By the end of her career she would get practically zero reaction, which lead to her being used less and eventually they just let her leave. In wrestling getting a reaction is the most important thing, no matter if it’s boos or cheers. Ronda got no reactions.
Her ring work was mediocre at best, and her mic skill lacked fundamentally, on top of that, she had no respect for the business. She was pushed to the top by [redacted] immediately and failed and blamed everyone but herself
I just recall that one *awful* Frog Splash! I'd always been a big fan of women's wrestling, especially as someone who got into watching pro-wrestling during the rise of NXT in 2014 (oof, that was 10 years ago) and to see Ronda be put immediately at the top despite spending so little time training as an actual pro-wrestling despite all the women already in the company who'd spent *years* working in the business having to scrape for the company to invest in them at all. I happened to be at Wrestlemania that year, but I spent her match checking into my flight the next day.
What kind of CHAMPION loses a fight and gives up on life !!?? Get back in there and redeem yourself and get that title back. So yeah "Toughen up" would be the appropriate advice Oomp.
Yeah I don't get it either. I didn't even know she existed to be fair but just hearing that had me go, this is someone who had everything handed to them in life and never had to earn their own spot or question themselves. I always compare life to a war with multiple battlefronts. One of those is definitely your personal identity and figuring out what you like. If you don't even have the guts to do that then what are you doing in a fighting ring?
@@junrobin9335 Yeah she was pretty big , she wasnt even a bad of a fighter quite the contrarry but this video explains literally everything. Too cocky but obviously all an act in reality she crumbled on the first sign of trouble.
@@justposi Yeah I just don't get how that didn't get caught? Like I don't actually ever watch fighting sports or anything. But from what I hear a lot of people say, fighting sports are supposed to build up your personality. So I feel honestly a bit confused . The data doesn't match up with what I hear xD
@jumpingbombangels2856 Amanda nunez and couple other females also contributed to wasnt just ronda. ronda just had allot of people wanting to see her lose even when she was fighting lower ranked women
@@domthecreed7065Well the fact is she sold more PPVs than any other woman fighter by a long shot. Not only does she have the top 2 women’s PPVs but 4 out of the top 5 women’s PPVs. The only other top 5 women’s fight was on a stacked UFC 200 card which also included Brock lesnar, Silva vs Cormier, aldo vs edgar. Rousey was selling PPVs basically on her name alone, whether people were paying to see her lose or not.
That Ellen interview reminds me of the scene at the end of Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog where Captain Hammer is crying to a therapist because he got an owie
I have nothing against them...they're completely innocent. I just hate the inbreeding resulting in even more severely deformed animals that live their lives struggling because of those deformities. Petey and Frankie are obviously really healthy but so many have just sad existences.😢
I love pugs. I hate that theyre bred for cuteness over health tho. But theyre ones people hate on a lot because their problems are very visible, there are dogs that are just as unhealthy that hardly anyone rants about like they do pugs. Cavaliers and bernese mountain dogs are some, same goes for a lot of XL breeds. Its a problem with a lot of pure breeds, shouldnt single out pugs.
Ronda wanted to get cheered when she first got into the WWE but she got booed when they saw how bad on the mic she is and her real life attitude prob didn't help. After that she got real sour about the whole thing and started phoning it in until she fulfilled her contract. She got gifted an amazing push but her ego got to her since she has no self awareness and is a petty hateful person
I will say a win for her is at one point she was asked to fight with a one of those guys with zero training who think they could beat any female athlete in their sport, and she then proceeded to dislocate his arm within 2 minutes
There's a difference between cocky and confident and you can see many examples of the results of both all over the internet. (Hint: the cocky ones don't end well.)
I feel like with Connor, it's easier to tell that he is being competitive. With Ronda; However, It feels like she actually places herself above everyone else
Ronda is the perfect example of letting your ego get the better of you when you didn’t even have the right to have one in the first place. Everyone in her circle has failed her by letting her believe her own hype, Ronda is truly insufferable and I feel bad for everyone close to her.
Like when mcgregor gave that old man a drink? I think the classiest part was that the guy contiued standing and dint even spill the dtink, i believe. Guy kept his back to him.
It's a glass half full v half empty situation. She was a champion, is a millionaire, still has many impressive wins and medals and still got depressed and thought she didnt reach her dreams
Not to mention that she refused to face off against any men. I genuinely don't think she can call herself the best female fighter, let alone the best in general, when there are tons of female fighters who would and could fight toe to toe with their male counterparts.
Professional wrestling is a performance art, and when done right, is really high effort. There was legitimate talent at the WWE, the one that immediately springs to mind is The Undertaker. His performance was unmatched. While it's totally valid to not like professional wrestling, it's kinda messed up to shame those who enjoy watching it in-person or on TV.
I love how people still pretend like the WWE isn't "real". All because the winner is predetermined and key points of the match is planned/semi planned. Yet everything that they actually do is....idk this thing called real. X,D.
This is what happens when you fight with an ego. An ego can only get you so far, but the bigger the ego the better the opponents because mostly the best fighters want to shut down an ego person. Connor McGregor is probably the best example when it comes to having a big ego. Not saying they aren’t talented fighters because obviously they are, but no matter the case somebody out there will always be better than your ego, it just takes that time until you match with that opponent.
What’s funny is when Ronda was saying she was “the best fighter in the world” was the same time McGregor was rising and he was saying the same thing. We all know Conor is doing incredibly well, but it’s funny realizing that juxtaposition back then 😂
One thing I find funny is that while America and China and other high population (& GDP) countries usually do the best in the olympics, Australia with a whopping - just barely - 25 million people (Half of whom are 40 or older) Always do pretty well, even winning top 3 in a lot of years. Truly a sporting nation. Also for most of it's history cricket - one of the world's more boring sports - has either been won by Aus or India.
You know, I've never watched, cared about or had any interest in wrestling; but a couple weeks ago a friend of mine who is a wrestler was performing at the expo in Vegas so I went to support her. It was actually kinda fun and funny to watch in person.
It's a match who cares they get too travel too France and there well taken care of poor poor them bread and circus you will own nothing and be happy Klaus schwab @@darkhpokinsngaming8889
Regarding CTE, you actually can not heal from it no matter how much time off you take. The brain damage is permanent and cumulative and once you get to a certain point there's nothing you can do about it. You become destined to lose your memory, your sense of self, and everything that makes you who you are. Not only that but you get abandoned by the sport and the people that made you great, and the public, the fans, don't want to see you anymore because it's sad. Its a fate almost worse than death.
This needs pinned. Aaron Hernandez killed a man because his brain was deteriorating from this invisible injury. All contact sports desperately need an overhaul of protective headgear, but despite all the efforts and movies starring Will Smith nothing has changed because pain sells.
@@zombzworld exactly. Loss is a part of life, it's necessary. It builds character. And your ability to bounce back and dust yourself off is the purest form of strength
It was still scripted. I’m a big wrestling fan and watching it was actually painful. I paid to watch a wrestling match, not a scripted MMA fight in a WWE ring.
