I agree! When I first smelled it I did not like it but when I came back around to it eventually I became addicted. I have the OG and a bunch of dupes and flanker dupes even 😂 It's so good!

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure, no truer words were ever spoken. There is one girl in a group that goes after every fragrance that I post, well, maybe not all of them but quite a few. I think a lot of times it has to do with how expensive a fragrances. Maybe not in this pill but in groups!
I loved La Vie Est Belle ,still a very recognizable nice fragrance , no hate but when I found the niche world there are just too many other scents I would always want to wear first.... I do need to go try Black Opium Le Parfum, I smelled it on someone and it def grabbed my attention ❣

The good Girl sure for me😀that fragrance used to get me load of compliments but used to trigger my hay fever so badly and honestly I only was wearing it when I want a compliment. With BR540, I love having it in my collection and will always have it. But I think people including myself hate it cox of it's known disappearing act!! each time I wear it, for some reason I feel really bougie and elevated😀
I don’t like the new Initio Narcotic Delight. It’s too peppery. I sampled it in Neiman’s and it sent me into a choking fit. My eyes were watering and I felt like I was about to choke. This happened by smelling it on a perfume test strip.

I understand everything besides BR540. I like that & nobody can say it is not special EVEN if they don’t gravitate towards it. The only other one on this list I had is Black opium which I fell out if love with years ago after owning it for years too
As far as 5-3, they are mass produced/designers that smell good, but you kinda smell them everywhere AND they have so many ads. 2 is just polarizing, ESPECIALLY the OG version, but I loved it! 1 is hated because of the price. You are right about the numbers not lying, fact is the people don't hate these fragrances, they are all extremely popular and much loved, which is why SOME people hate on them, put on any of these and you will get told how great you smell.

That’s why it’s important to test a perfume on your skin first before purchasing. Blind buy fragrances is a gamble 😊. I use to love sweet fragrances when I was a teenager but now they make me nauseous.
Yes agreed. However some don't live in a place where they're able to test so blind buying is their only option. And others just get a rush from blind buying. I love sweet fragrances. I thrive off them and they work with my bodychemisry as an adult. Maybe as I get older I won't care for them 🤷🏾♀️ but right now sweet fragrance me all day every day....especially for bed ❤️💕🩷❤️🩷💕 Thanks for watching

No hate here for Baccarat 540 just bought the hand and body wash, smells amazing to me. My disliked fragrance is the original Michael Kors bc the bees will chase a Sista down to sting you several times.
I do believe that hate for BR540 comes from the POPULARITY just like oh i am different I don’t like what is the people like 🙄🙄😏I got it back in 2017 maybe I am tired of it, maybe it becomes boring, maybe it’s not unique anymore because you can smell it anywhere even at the places where no one knows about niche fregrances😅, yes it went from my first favourite spot to the least spot in my collection but I am still loving it, I usually sell my old fregrance to get a new ones but I never thought to sell my BR540 ❤

All of the fragrances mentioned have over saturated the market (at 1 point) and I think ppl are just over smelling them. I’ve owned 4 out of the 5 perfumes and they all smell good. Some I just don’t wear anymore.

I teach undergrads and everywhere I go on campus and even in the grocery store in that college town, I smell Cloud and Burberry Her which are BR540 dupes. I used to like Cloud, and now I can’t stand it because it just smells like everyone and everything. Maybe that’s what happened to the BR540 DNA.

Besides BR540, I never got into the other fragrances. No particular reason. I remember though liking Alien when I tried it once. Also, I once bought La Vie Est Belle for my Mom - she love all things Lancôme.
I've never been a fan in Good Girl, but I love Blush. It's the only one I have. I can't do Alien, not a fan of any of them. I can't do Baccarat. I have 4 other fragrances from MFK, but I can’t for this one. Good video.

I had La Vie est belle. I loved it then and I still do now but there are so many fragrances out there I love more. Alien is too much for me now used to own that as well. I don't mind black opium and Good girl ( tacky bottle). BK540 has never been a love for me but its a classic.
The only one I HATE is Alien. All the others are fine, just not for me. The one I wanted to love BR540 so bad, but there is something in that I just don’t care for.

I don’t hate any fragrance but I’m not scent sensitive. Some just aren’t my taste. I had a supervisor once who was scent sensitive and when I tell you I’ll put it on when I didn’t want to be bothered 😂 he hated Delina. I probably have 1/2 a bottle now😂
A long time ago I was sitting in a meeting and my colleague was wearing Estée Lauder Beautiful. After sitting next to her for about 30 minutes I had to leave the room to throw up.
I have to say I pretty much have the same taste as you but I ended up decluttering all these fragrances and realized it was the jasmine!!! It just didn’t work well on my skin and gave me a migraine! As for BR I decluttered it bc it was too manly on me! Wanted to love it but each time I tried I had to wash it off lol!
Wow. I’m wearing Alien layered with the alien Goddess and I’ve been getting compliments alll day for real. Like frfr. Sad to say I own all of these except for la ve est belle. That comes off as grandma ish on me.

They REALLY don’t hate BR540. They just wish it wasn’t so popular and widely worn, so causes them to hate that they bought it. They REALLY like it IMHO. Like you said, numbers don’t lie. People lie. 😃😃
I don’t care. I love love black opium. I don’t hate BR 540. But, it’s not my scent “flavor”. Not on me. I even tried bbw into the stars which people say is similar and I had to shower and returned it. I think fragrance is just different for everyone
