Thanks Kautuk for bringing up the Tibetan refugee settlement in Karnataka. I was born as a Tibetan refugee in Dharamshala. My mom and her family was part of the Tibetan refugee settlement in Karnataka. I'm now settled in the US but visited my mom's hometown of Bylakuppe for the first time in 2019. I consider India my home country and going back there always brings so much joy and nostalgia. I feel the larger Indian population is unaware of the Tibetan communities spread across India so hoping your brief mention here will at least bring some light on their existence.

I recently went spelunking in some caves here in Canada. Just knowing that you're so deep under the ground, even though you're safe, was so unnerving and harrowing. I can't imagine what those kids went through! Kudos to their coach and all the people who worked hard to rescue them!

Hi Varun, there’s a beautifully made documentary on the Thai cave rescue on discovery+ called “the rescue”. It’s absolutely well done, and shows you some live footage of their plan, process, how at one point the britishers almost gave up hope. You must check it out.
