Desmond Decker, The Specials, The Selecter … fantastic picks. I was a wave 3 guy because of my age. It was an amazing time. Probably the most exciting wave in many ways… wave 2 is my fav objectively.

Good picks from members of a really excellent band. Would love to see these guys play sometime. Need to track down that Desmond Dekker. The Specials and The Selecter are outstanding bands, as are Bad Religion and NOFX on the punk front.

black pumas are a fantastic band. I've heard they are amazing live so it is ashame you have not been able to see them yet. And their cover of Politicians in My Eyes is great. As for your grandfather, Wiki has a partial discography of his which is a good start. Because he played for both film and for orchestras you probably will have to do alot of different digging in different areas. Your grandfather is on ebay. I googled his name and ebay came up. I looked really quick but, there are 45s and albums that feature him. It may be a fun look for you guys.

Such a great band, but come on! Justin has got to be one of the most underrated bass players ever. Such fun lines, unexpected combos, yet simple bass tune. It's lovely for anyone playing bass. Keep it up!
