Happy to have you in L.A., John. Yes, its' very laid back here, celebrity sightings are too common to really get worked-up about. A while back, I had a staring contest with Cameron Diaz. She was standing behind the counter, off to the right side, at a 7-11 in Hollywood. I saw her casing the place with some dude for a shoot when I walked in, but I had no idea who she was. I just thought she was good looking, and impeccably dressed, like the Beverly-Hills-casual look: boots and jeans. When I got to the counter, there she was, looking dead in my eyes. I stared right back into hers, blue meeting blue, and I was trying to figure out why she looked so damned familiar, and I'm sure she was waiting for me to recognize her and cream my pants. When her name finally came to me, I turned to the cashier and said, "Why is Cameron Diaz standing behind your counter?" When I turned to look at her again, she stormed off. Southern California seems like a good fit for Johnny, and he certainly has to like the weather better here, compared to England.

@Estragon17 Certainly, Certainly, I wasn't faulting anyone in any particular direction, just making a general observation. I don't think he could have stood such a line of work for so long if he truly despised everyone and everything. But the masses prefer crass Johnny, so unearthing this took slightly more digging.
I knew JR wouldn't drive, no need to in London, something he said about leaving the door unlocked to stop them kicking it in, doesn't work they still kick it in,
@PanoplyCabaret I prefer to think of it as the majority of people Johnny runs into being utter twats and idiots, whereas he can be quite pleasant and damned near polite with someone he can actually have a bit of respect for.
i wish that when i go to LA i could run into Lydon so i could have a chat with someone with a brain for a change, not these stupid ass holes of friends i have :/ my life is sad...
should have come to australia you can be anybody you want no one gives a shit but most important you wont be gunned down by some ak47 or something like that guns in la are mad thank god i live here
