The Irish Post Awards 2023 Finbar Furey took home the Lifetime Achievement in Music Award at the 2023 Irish Post Awards, and following his acceptance speech made gave an incredible live performance alongside the incomparable Imelda May!
Just brilliant, and indeed this is FInbar's second lifetime achievement award from the Irish Post, to be sure, to be sure Mrs Brown. " We were kinda cute looking on stage," said Finbar..."from a distance" Finbar spoke movingly and eloquently about being in London in 1967 and helped by the lads from Camden Town, he never forgets a kindness. It was just brilliant to be part of this wonderful evening honouring the hero that is Finbar Furey.
