The director said he took the tragedy of Chris and Mike and balled them up together because the movie was dark enough not having extra similar fates of each.

On Bubba Ray's podcast, Marshall and Ross Von Erich, Kevin's sons, said the "meet up" scene almost made Kevin leave the theater because it was something that he dreamt about but never told anyone. So to see in the movie, his brothers meeting in the afterlife was overwhelming.

You know what's crazy, they left another brother out of the movie. Chris Von Eric's story was left out due to the time of the movie, and his death was similar to Kerry's death.

The Von Erichs story is a deep and haunting. They were the CORE of WCCW and Texas wrestling back in the 80's.

They shouldn’t have left Chris Von Erich out. It may have made the movie longer, but it would be necessary. If you make a movie about the Von Erich brothers, you need to include all of them, not leave one out. But overall, I really liked the movie. Definitely tragic and sad.

Had two friends that worked the smaller circuits in California who made it in the late 90’s. One made the WWF and got a big push the other ECW. I don’t want to name drop but both died not long after their big break due to pain killers and liquor. They always said the business is absolutely brutal and destroys so many, even those that “make it.”

I grew up watching WCCW...Von Erich's, Freebirds, Cactus Jack, Chris Adams, Dingo Warrior, etc. I'll probably see this movie eventually.

The Von Erichs and The Fabulous Freebirds were the ones who initially made pro wrestling a new must watch for me. I remember watching them before I even knew who Flair or Hogan were.

This movie was just a true rollercoaster of emotions for me because it had it's happy moments and then it's very sad moments too. I just feel so very for Kevin because he is the only Von Erich out of all of his brothers whose still alive. I got emotional and this was a really great movie. Kerry Von Erich's children helped out some during the making of this movie.

World Class Championship Wrestling used to air late Saturday nights in my area and as someone who got to see the Von Erich boys in their heyday (mainly Kevin & Kerry and a little bit of David), I'm really looking forward to checking this out cause from the trailer, I know it's gonna bring back some childhood memories. Planning to check it out this week.

Only time I ever saw Harley Race was when he was the King under Bobby Heenan and he had that "injury" on a table when he tried to dive headbutt Hulk Hogan from the top turnbuckle - where Hogan avoided contact just in time. Like you Tyrone, I too only ever really saw Kerry the Texas Tornado though I was always aware of the Von Erich family tragedy over the years. Looking forward to seeing this film.

I used to watch them back in the day and it wasn’t until much later that I found out that Kevin was the eldest of the brothers. I actually thought he was the youngest. Either way, he was my favourite. I think the promotion was called All-Star Wrestling. Or was it All-American Wrestling…?? Back then they used to fight against Michael Hayes and The Freebirds. Their other major rival was a guy called The Great Kabuki and he also used the claw hold. I CANNOT wait to see this movie. It definitely sounds like something I would own in steelbook.

I think the guy who played Ric Flair did not do a good job doing Ric Flair's promo. Not too many people could really do justice to a Ric Flair promo, but after the match when he went to talk to Kerry in the locker room, I bought him as Ric.

It felt like the guy who played Ric Flair maybe saw a whole ten seconds of footage of him. He didn't have the rasp or energy behind his voice and said "Woooo" the same way every time instead of the musically random way(s) the Nature Boy says it.

I grew up with the Von Erichs, was a fan of Kevin and Kerry. It was always about Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair and the Von Erichs back in the day. It was terrible always hearing about one of the brothers deaths. I don't think there's been a wrestling family like the Von Erichs since they appeared imo.

I discovered the Von Erichs in the 80's, their feuds with the Freebirds,... the 3 on 3 tag team matches (Kerry, Kevin, David),... yeah, those were the days of wrestling! So to hear Ric Flair and Harley Race are featured in this! Ok, now I'm on board!

Movie was great, sad but great. Only knowledge I had of the Von Erich’s was through my dad and what he used to watch as a kid when his dad took him to shows. It’s a must watch for anyone that has any kind of knowledge of the Von Erich’s.
