@@JuliesWorldCrochet Hello! Thank you so much for that. Yes it was truly a labor of love for us. We were 'crunching' from the moment we started. We had to. In order for us to even do the movie, Brad Bird (the director) told the execs that if "they leave him alone to do the movie HE wants to make...he'd do it for half the budget, half the crew, half the production cost, half the time..." So yeah. We had a mountain to move. But, when you believe in the project and the crew....you can do the impossible. I think we did a pretty good job. All things considered. LoL. This movie is amazing. The ending was great but sad. It gets me everytime. His self sacrifice to save his friend

@@Reactsandgames it was a cameo at the request of director Brad Bird. Ollie Johnston appeared in the Iron Giant immediately before Frank Thomas as well. Ollie is the one who said “go on, tell him what you saw Frank”. And they both made a cameo in the Pixar film The Incredibles, which was also directed by Brad Bird. They appeared when Syndrome was defeated in front of the city and they talked about how it was “old school” and how there was “no school like old school”. Ollie Johnston was also a very gifted animator for Disney, he designed the 3 good fairies from Sleeping Beauty, Mr. Smee from Peter Pan, Lady from Lady & the Tramp, and many others!

​@@ReactsandgamesIt's another animated movie done by Don Bluth with animals. I forgot what the acronym actually stands for, but it's explained in the film. It's a really good movie with more dark themes to it, highly recommend :3

It’s an extended edition addition, personally not a fan of it because it spoils the big reveal of the giant actually being designed to be a weapon.

Hello. Yes that was one of the sequences that we had boarded but was cut from the movie for time restraints and also because it was felt like it slowed up the pacing a bit. AND....it told too much. When it was re-released for the 'signature edition" dvd, it was animated and added to the film as a 'bonus'. I was one of the animators on this film and personally I like it without. I think It's better with the added mystery of not knowing all the backstory. All the best to you. :)

It actually flopped on release. Thankfully people found and embraced it on home video and it's built a following over the years. The gears of justice grind slowly! ^_^
