I'll be going back to Pigeon Forge in September. I didn't have a chance to explore the Island much last time we went due to a lack of time. This video gives me a great outlook and an idea on things I'd love to do there. Thanks sooooo much for the awesome footage. Greatly appreciated!
Thanks Present, glad this helped! We hope you have a great time in September. We will have a lot more videos covering the best places to eat and things to do so don't forget to subscribe here 👉 bit.ly/3f6Peoa
I will be down there in September and I been watching videos for the last couple of weeks. This will be my first time to pigeon forge. So your video is helping me plan my trip.
Glad our videos are helping, we should have many more videos filled with great places to eat and things to do in Pigeon Forge. We hope you have a great time here!
The summer I would stop by after Dollywood’s fireworks and drone show, I want to say they typically run the fountain show until about 11. Thanks Dozer!
Thank you for this video. Pigeon Forge is a great stop to make when roadtripping. I got a road trip coming up with my son. Leaving Detroit and headed to Atlanta Georgia area. It's about a 10 hr drive, however... we are going to take an alternative route, I'm going to stop in Louisville, Kentucky... spend a night there, wake up and drive to Nashville, hangout there a bit, grab a bite, then head to Chattanooga, visit the Aquarium there, before we reach our destination in Georgia. Coming back, I want to stop in Pigeon Forge, so my son and I can ride the new Soarin ride there, grab a bite to eat before we head straight back to Michigan. Can't wait.
This place is a must-do every time my husband and I are in the area. We love walking around, the Soarin’ ride, and grabbing drinks & a pizza at Mellow Mushroom. Also love the Crime Museum (and the free parking!)
Love the videos. My wife and I just returned to WV from Pigeon Forge on Thursday evening. I see that we’re both Firefighter Paramedics. We would love to relocate there. I’ve been looking into jobs there. It’s awesome to be able to see so many of the attractions. I’m ready to switch from being a Mountaineer to becoming a Volunteer. 😁
I was a full time Firefighter/Paramedic until PTSD ended my career. That prompted us leaving FL & moving to The Smokies which has been very helpful/healing! Appreciate your support, I hope it works out for you Eric!
@@AdventureIsOutThere I’m sorry to hear about your PTSD. I have issues too. I’m trained in WV as a Firefighter, Paramedic and Police Officer too. I’ve been a part of a lot of things over the last 30 years. We want to come to visit again soon. It might take a while for the move however. Housing seems to be a tough hurdle there. I hope things work out for us on relocating. We enjoy both your content and video production quality. I’m happy you’re doing well now, brother! ❤️🚑🚒😁
@@ceclay1 www.22zero.org helped a lot. I was trained by them & can help military/first responders 100% free. All done with a zoom call if you know anyone that could use help! Stay safe out there!
From a fellow EMS brother from Gordonsville/Carthage, TN......Thank you for all of your videos! We live here and my kids LOVE going to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Everytime we go, we find something new to do. We have visited The Island so many times and this video showed me things I never even knew were there!! DEFINATELY gonna check out the cookie place......you know us medics are about food!! LOL Keep putting out these videos, brother! (My son is now wearing me out about the RideMakers shop......lol) We will be visiting in October this year!
If you do tastings at Ole Smoky they give you coupons! My boyfriend and I went recently and did two in two days and got a pretty good amount of coupons and were able to get a shirt and a jar of moonshine for a decent price.
Planning a family trip at the end of June. How long do you say we would spend walking around the island? Is it something we can do in the evening or should we plan half/full day?
If it were Brie & our 3 kiddos, I would say WE would spend a half day. Every person is different with what they like to do. I hope the tour gives you an idea of what you would like do when you visit. Have you checked out our top 10 things to do in PF & GB video yet Josy? ~Ryan
Your videos are so informative and immersive. Thank you. I just want to say that in the two years since you made this one, you have increasingly over-annunciated the narrative, which is hard to listen to. This one sounds like natural speech and is far more pleasant. Just an observation. Thank you so much for posting these.
I don't believe anyone would stop you from taking a beverage from Yee-haw or Ole Smoky & walk around with it. Glad to know it was helpful, we hope to do an updated tour here soon Steve!
Ryan, I always enjoy your videos. I took my 8 year old great grandson to the Island in June. We parked and rode the trolley over, however, we encountered many rude people at the trolley stop. We were literally knocked away by people who were just arriving and pushing many of us back. We finally got on the fourth trip around. Needs to be a system in place for first come, first served. We did SkyFly and he absolutely loved it. Thanks for all you do.
I was planning on spending a weekend in Pigeon Forge to check out Dollywood. I'll be checking this place out too. Might head down to Gatlinburg and check out the attractions down there too. I didn't realize before I started researching the area that there is SO MUCH to do there. Might have to stay for a week to see all the things I'd like to see.
Love the video I'm actually heading up that way on Saturday. Just noticed in your video I didn't see the store I love to go to called All Sauced up, is it no longer there
They have a few amusement rides. There is a small kids train near the island at The Tower Shops at The Mountain Mile Denise - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YQACC5IJf8Y.html
@@AdventureIsOutThere Thanks. I used to work there as a ride attendant. The train was my favorite. It rides all around the Island and one parent could go w the kids.
Thanks for showing us the Island. It was always so busy and there was no place to park because there were so many cars. We were so curious as to what was there. Now we know. We will have to make room for it the next time we visit.
Correct SkyFly is a separate ticketed attraction from the main Island Ride ticketing center. Here is a full overview of the SkyFly Leslie: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l3FlMHJUUrs.html
Thanks Mark! Dollywood Drone/Fireworks show & summer festival food review & an 11 Mile bike ride through Cades Cove coming out the next few days! ~Ryan
@@AdventureIsOutThere it’s not a bad place. Very generic but we love the local places and holes in the walls. Maybe you should do a video on that. We’ll be in gatlinburg and pigeon forge in October 👍
@em1ownerify top 10 hole in the walls has been on my agenda for a while. I just need to find a way to duplicate myself like Michael Keaton in Multiplicity 😁
