Eh unless a mechanic is added what can you do, besides giving mixpackers karma is one of the most satisfying things you can do, if you succeed

@@StelloTyrannus There really should be a mechanic that discourages mixpacking, maybe there could be a stress mechanic. If you spend too much time near an animal that isn't your species, you start getting debuffs to health, damage, and stamina. However, if herbivores mixpack with other herbivores, it's okay, but carnivores mixpacking with herbivores or other carnivores will give them the debuffs.

@@jacobcox4565 I agree I’ve seen some videos going into detail on this and I think it could work well if executed properly. It should be something that can be disabled on community servers tho so people who do wanna mixpack have a place to do so. Just not on officials

Learnt the hard way you gotta play on moderated unofficial servers with at least some rules, officials are full of hackers and a lot of irritating players, it's not faultless but it's a lot better.

The editing is on point. I can only imagine if we ever get Troodon or the venom mechanic, when you're bitten you play the 'touch fuzzy, get dizzy' level music when you accidentally touch the fuzzy things. Despite you never playing Yoshi's Island, you did great with the music. XD Subbed.

I just played my very first Carno to adulthood, by being a rat living off AI. First thing I did as an adult ? Flew over a ravine, that was well hidden behind a bush and died instantly....

Yea there’s a certain ravine on the northern part of the map that EVERYONE falls into at some point, more experienced players memorize where it is and can avoid it entirely. But it’s also a consequence of poor map design in this version of the isle. We’re supposed to get a new map called gateway very soon which will fix a lot of the problems spiro has

I wasn’t around during progression. But for me the isle, despite its flaws, just has the perfect feeling of being a dinosaur. The animations, evrimas combat, and the immersion factor, just makes you feel alive. The future also promises what would be for me, the perfect game. Whether the devs will succeed at this, who knows, but I like to stay positive

Sounds like youre on the legacy version, this version I play is the newer one called evrima, which actually has official servers. To play evrima go to the steam app and open the game in library. Then press the gear icon (settings), then betas, then change the version to evrima, and the game will update to it
