Exactly, Ms. Wolf. No one should be off limits in comedy. I've heard many comedian tell Jewish jokes and I find them hilarious. Comedy is never done in malice. We should be able to poke fun at each other without getting offended. 👍

I'm sure there's a lot of people winging it ... hoping not to be found out ... one of my sisters ended up being a "telecom Engineer" for BT / Openreach, after years of being an operator - so it wasn't REALLY her fault that she was crowbarred into a job title she wasn't really up to ... I'm sure she was competent and exceptionally diligent in performing her tasks, relaying information back and forth between engineers working in the field - but after a decade or more she finally asked me ... "What ARE OHMS?" ... (seeing as she was routinely reporting readings to field engineers and the like) ... I TRIED to explain by starting with the most basic circuit ... a battery and torch bulb ... I assumed she knew that much ... turned out that went over her head. She was humble enough to accept she was clueless from a technical standpoint but she could do her job just fine - didn;t need to know anything other than who to tell and what a high or low reading was etc - But I've always felt a bit dubious about JOB TITLES ever since ... I think it was a bit of an exaggeration to call her an "engineer" when you think of the qualifications real engineers (say, electrical engineers) have - I SUPPOSE people can be flattered by their new job title ... a friend's electricity meter needed changing yesterday and they said they were sending an "engineer" - which made me laugh a bit because they never used to even employ ELECTRICIANS, never mind "engineers" to change a meter or main fuse - Electricity boards used to "train" ANYONE who could hold a screwdriver and drive a van, IN TWO WEEKS, to change electricity meters - which is criminal really, considering how much can go wrong if you're unlucky - Job titles and "image" seem to dominate life.

@@stephenbrough8132 Oh the woman I'm talking about was evil and tried getting me sacked a couple of times because she knew I was onto her, it was only the I.T director who stopped her but I left not long after because of the witch..........she actually tried to sack me for doing something she'd asked me to do 😂

@@Salfordian Oh I get you mate, I know there are some evil / vile people like that, don't care who they tread on - and if you were onto her fakery, she sounds well motivated to react like a cornered rat. Wouldn't be so bad if people could come clean - niceness counts a lot more to most people than status. I've left a few jobs myself when just one person ruined an otherwise happy situation - - What can you do except avoid those people. You did the right thing by the sounds of it but sorry it came to that.

But yeah, that's REALLY good news, if it comes to pass. It's almost worth getting a telly for - my last one broke and TBH I was almost glad to not have to listen to the depressing news again - it's been depressing me since I was about 10, from Vietnam, to the IRA, to Al kaida to covid - Not wonder I seek solace in weird comedy.
