My grandfather was born there in Itta Bena and we are trying to trace his roots. I didn’t know that Itta Bena was Choctow land for hundreds of year before the Europeans came and forced them out and sent to Oklahoma. I need to come to Itta Bena land of my grandfather so his soul and his parents can talk to me and guide me further to our family heritage. I would love to connect with you. Thanks
Amen Brother! Meaningful & heartfelt messages! We can see & feel the pain you feel for the loss of heritage & traditions of Itta Bena, Ms.!! Praying for you all!
