Amazing video Keith! I grew up there in Itta Bena and seeing this video brings back a lot of memories. Currently I am living in Washington DC, and it is not a day that goes by that I do not think about the "Home in the Woods" Thanks for sharing your trip to my hometown; a lot has changed, yet a lot have stayed the same.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! All of my Delta videos bring similar reactions. It’s a much beloved place and I certainly enjoy going myself.

I love finding and photographing abandoned things and small towns, so your videos are always a pleasure to watch. And your photos are excellent ( I love the old sign and the water tower!) Thanks for sharing your explorations with us! I hope you're doing well.

This was my home town. I grew up there and lived there from the mid forties until the seventies. It breaks my heart to see it like this. It was a lovely little town, with a lot of nice people living there.

Randomly looked this place up since my Grandmother was from here before she moved up to Roseland, Chicago for work. This was cool.

I was hoping you would have visited Leflore school in Itta Bena. We used to visit every summer up until "91". This place looks completely different. What happened to all those people that use to live there?

I don't understand why you would show a building and not show the writing associated with that building don't you want people to know what you're filming or is it more important for you to just show an abandoned building you need to get your focus
@Keithdotson
@Keithdotson 2 года назад
I'm sorry but I don't understand your criticism. I showed whatever was there. But my focus is to make photographs of these buildings before they are gone, which is what I do. I'm sorry you didn't like the video, but thank you for watching nonetheless.

I did like the video I never said I didn't like it I just wanted to read that writing and then you move the camera. I like to read I'm sorry that wasn't your focus but I understand thank you
