Michael always get emotional at the end of I'll be there, just look at his three solo tours and you will see. But if my memory serves me right, this was his most emotional. He always extends the last part of I'll be there to show the audience his emotions.
And yes, 9/11 was the day after, it has even been said Michael Jackson were supposed to attend a business meeting at the world trade center that they but overslept it or cancelled it. The typical crazy stories about MJ. Also, in 1999 Michael had a severe back injury when a stage collapsed and crashed. After that he started to go on painkillers and his back were problametic. Thats one of the reason his performance was not up to his usual flawless standards.
I had never heard that story before but it was one of his worst performances and not at all close to the typical MJ standard. He seemed stiff and unable to maintain the energy and whiplash style movements we had come to expect. I love him regardless but not a high ranking performance for me.

I love MJ. But Tito, Jermaine and Randy don't get enough credit. For you to play instruments while singing along and doing footwork together is a hard feat to do. They never missed a step. Also, Jermaine was a great 2nd lead in Jackson 5 and was crucial in J5 harmonisation. After Jermaine left, their harmonies were never the same.

I love what you said about the fans. He used to say we were his family around the world which always meant so much, but even more so now. I can’t remember who it was, but there was a programme with one artist saying that every performer dreams of having a fan base like Michael, but no one ever will. Each artist loves their fans, but none compares to the relationship between Michael and the fans.

I think he trusted his fans/friends to the job of carrying his messages throughout the generations. He knew that we would be bold enough to defend him no matter what kind of mud or trash that the liars and the money hungry tabloids tried to fling on his name. This was the last time the brothers perform together they were talks after he was done with the This Is It tour to have one more go at it together for their mom but unfortunately that never happened
When they were singing ABC, Randy was saying OPP and Michael approached Randy asking him not to say OPP. Randy pushed Michael away and told him to go on. A lot of fans was upset at Randy for doing that on stage and pushing Michael.

the real thing is that he slept over him he had a meeting in one of the buildings but he did not come for them that his mother had counted on the phone the day before it took so long when they were finished so he slept over him the info can i do not remember where i got it from but it is the gunden to the right one behind it 😇
I'm a HUGE MJ fan but that particular show was one of my least favorites of his ever. The vocals were shakey and he physically wasn't in great condition. The moves seemed painful, stiff and he seems fatigued. It was great seeing them all together but disappointing when compared to his usual high-level performances.
MJ was unable to sing after the amount of surgeries that he had in his nose, no doctor has said to the people, to his fans, The Very important role that the nose plays in the breathing, and as a consequence,in his singing, even his speaking voice, was Indredibly deteriorated, added to that MJ always forced his voice to try to speak like a kid or teenager, There´s No doubt that MJ was a Great Musician, but There is no doubt either, that MJ suffered a lot of psychological disorders
