The book told us very little. You always get the impression that Rick has more to say , than he does say. Especially about the split.

Paul was right, his solo career is/was fantastic.

Must admit Weller was my musical idol growing up and loved all The Jam and the first half of The Style Council, but like absolutely nothing of his solo career.

The Jam as a band were untouchable and Weller's solo stuff has been good but never come close to them.

The Wellers really financially shafted Rick and Bruce

Rick and Bruce got what was due for any writing that they done, it was just Weller wrote most of the Jam songs.

@@binniemod you're shooting wildly from the hip and are totally unfamiliar with the key issues of the court case where both Wellers were named as the respondents.

@@taffytop I know there was a Court Case and as I said earlier they got what was due eventually.

@@binniemod they never got what they were legally entitled to they both accepted a measly one off payment with no claim to any future money because they were so financially down on their luck they accepted it. Champagne socialist Weller well and truly shafted them.

When it comes to the songs, Paul may have written the words, but I think Bruce and Rick, for quite a lot of them at least did contribute to the music of them. The only one they got credit for was Funeral Pyre and Music For The Last Couple.

A Ponytail and a Mullet!! These two would have done nothing if it wasn't for Paul Weller. Paul Weller was the Jam. The Drummer the Bassist who cares! They have both done nothing since. They live off their past which only lasted a couple Years. You can see them Performing in a Butlins near you to Fat Brit's trying to relive Thier past when they were Skinny and Cool
