The Jay Story

This is a story about Jay Hatchett Holcomb. His life was lived with joy, inspite of serious physical limitations. He was paralyzed from the chest down, having been born with Spina Bifida in 1985. He lived his fourteen years out courageously and joyfully. Alot of this had to do with his precious siblings, Clare, Drew, and Sam who loved him mightily. In honor of them Hamp and I wanted to post this for all to enjoy. (Kensington Community Church produced this years ago and now it has Spanish subtitles.)

Incredible! I have loved and relied on Drew's song to help me through some tough times over the last few years. It was only tonight that I watched his music video "Live Forever" to discover the songs origin. I watched this beautiful story in reverse. We serve an amazing God. He was so blessed to have an incredibly faithful and caring family. May God continue to bless the Holcomb family. Thank you for sharing your video.

I heard Drew's song, Live Forever, a couple days ago and was very touched by the words. It resulted in my wanting to learn more about the story behind the song. Thank you, Nancy (& family), for sharing your story - Jay's story - with us! What a precious young man!

+Cindy C Thank you Cindy.. Jay was certainly a gift to us and a gift to our children.. One that we wouldn't have asked for but were so grateful to the Lord for His giving Jay to us all.. Thanks for your comments.
