Loved watching the grooming time you gave the animals today. Please continue, it was driving me nuts looking at the buildup on Lola's back, I know she feels better already. Bring a bag with you for the dogs...they are blowing coat and if you get down to the skin you will be amazed at how much you can remove......you have the most dog "savvy" in your family. Thanks, God bless.
Hey y’all! I’m still laughing and the video is over! It’s always great to see y’all together! I figured if you brushed Lola you would get hair like you did! She didn’t used to look like that, I don’t know why her hair started doing that! She’s always been a beautiful pig, even when she was so overweight! I’m glad she lost some weight though and I hope she loses some more! I remember when she had babies! She was a good Mama!❤ It won’t be long until the littles get their horns! Then they will probably start sparring back with the big boys! I sure hope LeaAnn had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Lots of prayers for everyone! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
The blue eggs taste really good. Our local grocery store is selling free range eggs now. They are blue and brown. I wish my husband would let me get some chicken to raise but we are both in our 70's and it's getting harder for us to get around. Praying for you and Grandma. ❤
❤️ Hi Matt & Grandpa Doss. I just love watching you two! Taking care of the puppy's fur was interesting. That stuff is so thick, I don't see how you get a brush through it! Fun watching y'all corraling those animals with the feeding issues. Doing a great job, as always! Love & prayers, sweet friends. ❤🙏
Hello Matt and Ralph Another wonderful video. Time flies when we watch you. So enjoyable half hour. And Matt why you make your Dad get the eggs from under the chickens?? lol Wonder what was up with Sis today not wanting wormies? Thanks for getting your Mom the water gun. She sure was happy with it! Can sit and water all her flowers. I think maybe she needs one more for when the deer is eating the bird seeds! Something with a little more power!! lol🙏🙏🙏🙏Prayers to all that need it🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Two x daily x 3 years is 2190 times. No doubt it's double with projects and forgetting items you needed Ralph. So nice to see Matt spending time with you weekly. For many, it's not typical or even possible. Hope Mother's Day was special. So sweet Shannon cooked.
I think Matt is right once you see the cat you can't unsee it.. Bo Bo is adorable. prayers for all Doss family members. Love all the animals.. God bless..❤️🌹🙏
Matt I was just thinking, did Grandpa not tell you ? That you don't have to go inside the coop to gather eggs. Theirs a door on the outside, they can't peck you from their butt. LMAO 😂😂😀 Kathy reminded me that the door is a no go. Sorry Matt!
RALPH: my aunt was owning up to stuff at her moms death bed. The 2 sisters were trying to keep her alive till the next day. When grandma was diagnosed with kidney failure, she tried dialysis for a few times. You have to lay flat and still while it's being done. She had very severe arthritis in her back at 87 years old. She told everyone that she wanted just one more anniversary. She was taken to the ER and told she had sepsis throughout her body. The doctor told her 3 daughters that she probably wouldn't make till tomorrow. Well one daughter, my mom, had severe health issues. So I talked her into going to her home with me. The other two stayed and talked about whatever. My youngest aunt decided to own up to some of her misdeeds. Grandma said she figured as much except for 3 or 4 of them. Those few she had put it down to a meighboring farm boy. He had been killed in his mid twenties. Grandma said she would have to apologize to him once she met her maker on her anniversary. Just before midnight she dozed off. They said it was close enough that she would still make it. Well she surprised them. She woke up at 3:31am. They both told her "Happy anniversary, Mom. You made it to 66 anniversaries." They said she had a twinkle in her eyes and a small smile. She was gone 20 minutes later. Grandpa went home from the nursing home they were staying at. I was there with my mom cleaning the house before he came back. He was quietly looking around the house and then said "I now know why the Good Lord wouldn't take me home all the times before (5 in fact) I wouldn't have wanted my Nellie to be going through this." Meaning be at home alone without her spouse being there with her. She died Sept 29, 1999. He died March 3rd 2000, and my only other grandparent died March 7th, and was buried on March 10th. The 38th anmiversary of her 2nd sons, my dad, death. His funeral was held in the same church. He is buried 1/4 mile on down at the end of the road that the church was located on. I lost all the grandparents I ever knew in 5 months. I was rejoicing for them. Kidney failure, heart issues w/ 11 by-passes, 2 pacemakers (one wore out), and Alzheimer's. They all had worn out here, it was past time for them to go home. My Alzheimers' grandma was able to meet up with her hubby and father of her 4 boys.
Just had to have back x-rays, an MRI coming up to see if I have more ruptured discs. Have had 13 ruptures in the past and 5 surguries. Need prayers for healing and pain control, please. Thank you Doss family.
Matt, Case sounds so much like you when you’re talking to the animals. He’s a young Matt. It’s strange, sometimes. I looked like my mother’s sister.Abu is so cute. Well, they all are.
Yeah, people often think my neice is my daughter, because she looks more like me than my sister. I look just like my mother, my sister looks just like my father.
I look forward to all the Doss Family videos.. you make me laugh which I need at times. Mothers day was difficult as I loss my daughter last april and it still hurts.. look after one another. Hugs from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Grandpa you almost brought tears to my eyes when you mentioned smoky it also made me think when Adler would walk and count the turkey tails on the logs.my how time flies we didn't hardly know who Matt was .Matt you are such a joy so glad you joined the clan.God Bless ❤
I wanna know what you say your parents don’t want to know about! 😂😂😂😂 I bet you boys have some good stories! Can you at least tell us some you know? Maybe this summer in some fireside chats? That would be so much fun! ❤
Ralph, if the chickens are getting underneath your shed, you may want to check to see if there are any eggs under it. In answer to how many times you've walked the path, the estimate (on just 2 times a day) is 2,920.
Good Video Today !! It Went Smooth. I was the One that "mentioned" the Trip's on the Path. Knew it Had to " B-e " a Bunch ! ! 🙂 It Got to "100.4" Here in Vegas Today. "93" Right Now and it was "73" Lastnight. Was Perfect Temp's.
YEARS AGO, when I collected the eggs, my issue wasn't with the hen pecks or reaching in for the eggs, it was not knowing if there was a snake in there with the eggs cause some of the hens would just sit on top of them. 😬 We know Grandpa doesn't care about the snakes as he just picks em up and relocates them. Probably not as many snakes in Grandpa's coups as there was in ours. Praying for Grandma's appointment on Wednesday 🙏🙏❤
Another awesome Doss video. And I'm with you Matt rain on a metal roof is very soothing and relaxing. The kind you want to snuggle up with a cup of coffee and a movie.
I pick up my broody hens and check under them, it is the only time I am able to touch them, they don't peck when I do this. Look under the shed outside the fence where they are hanging out...eggs there probably
I did my share of paintballing back in the day, such fun! I did take a hit at point blank range to the chest, it stung awhile but not enough to stop playing. Sure couldn`t do that these days.
Matt you’re a special man with a heart of gold. The only problem I can see is your hearts way to big for your chest🥰. There’s no age limit I know of for throwing axe’s so you go have fun😃. What I’m trying to say is if it makes you happy and you have fun then do it whatever it might be🙂. God bless you young man🙏🏻😇. God bless your beautiful family too😇🙏🏻. Ps. Grandpa I can see where your kids get their greatness from, you and grandma😇😇🙏🏻🩷
😂😂 Matt, just open the right side door and the eggs are so much easier to grab. I just love these Doss family videos, just makes me want baby goats and chickens.
I made a suggestion to Kyle to get your mom a lilac bush from the three of you. Lilacs are her favorite flowers. When she was young she had a lilac bush but had to cut it down because the gas line ran under it. She said it upset her. I care about her and I have my own lilac bush that I love.
Female chickens don’t make that much noise, it’s the roosters that make a lot of noise. In my area, the city allows a small number of chickens, like 6-8, but no roosters. Maybe you can check with your city!!
@@vbarrettbarrett7026 I’m in a country subdivision , we are allowed to have chickens, no roosters but the neighbors ( on both sides of me ) don’t like chickens. There are chickens out here but they got out during a rain a few weeks back and the neighbor turned them in for letting them wander the neighborhood.. I’d rather have chickens roaming than their dogs they don’t pick up after!
Always lots of fun watching you and GPA out with the animals. Lola seemed to enjoy being brushed. Loved watching Matt getting the eggs from under the chickens. Prayers for GMA's Dr appointment. GOD bless y'all.
