You really did a fantastic job of filming this, this is great and I never thought I would ever see this like this. I don’t believe it could be done any better. And I miss the Jeffersons and the bunkers. You did great on all these places. Thank you for the music!
The Jefferson's building is still unique today. As it was from 1975, when the series premiered from a spinoff of All in the Family. Love the view of it. 185 E 85th Street. New York N.Y. 10028
Thank you for this comment, and thank you for watching! It is a beautiful building. I love to take people by when we are in the neighborhood. Their faces are unforgettable when they see it.
They actually DID walk into the building, when the two stars went to NY City in late 1974, to film them riding in the cab, walking into this building, etc.
You are just like me we would get along great that is so cool you’re really cool dude thanks again and good luck and keep up the great work you do And you put a big smile on my face. Thank you again
Good stuff just watched where the bunker house was in another one of your videos...by the way did u know the house in king of queens is actually in jersey (what a fake location!!)..at least Norman lear kept it as real queens as u can be with picking out the house to replicate in QUEENS! I'm from queens also, and I think the K OF Q house is a fkn joke.i look forward to more of ya videos.i just subscribed, keep em coming!!
I can't give away all my secrets, but since you look like Holly Golightly, I'll tell you to stay tuned for "Breakfast At Tiffany's" locations later this summer! Thanks so much for watching and saying hi!
Nope. Not yet. When I usually go that way, it's to pick up lunch for me & my co-workers...., So I don't stay too long over there......I'm going to go Friday ....
@@aarmstrong110 I did....The bottom of the building actually has one of my hospitals doctor's offices there.....It also looks a little different from the tv show....I'm guessing to keep up with the times.....
We've all seen the outside of the apartments but I wonder how they really looked from the inside. Does the inside of the apartments look the similar to the one from the set of the show? 🤔 That was in the 70s and 80s so I am sure the floor plans have changed since then. I guess I'll have to search for that one.
You know what? It may be possible. When I researched for this video, an interesting link came up in the search that included scans of the original sales materials from when it was built. These materials include awesome floor plans of the apartment units. Google Park Lane Tower with the address and you may still be able to find it.
They DID walk in the entrance to THIS building, this guy got it wrong. In season 1, they are in a NY city taxi, the taxi enters this circle, with the moving truck behind them, they get out, walk up to the door.
Who cares it's The Jeffersons you know it was on the TV show when the theme song I live in Whitewater California and I go into town and I see the dinosaurs that was in the Pee-Wee Herman's Big adventure movies and I thought that was totally awesome just to see something that you seen on TV that's cool
Nope..The ooener was filmed in SantaMonica where this Develooer has another twin building..Isabel and Shermans openers were filmed in the SantaMonica building and didnt know the building in NYC exsisted
