@@richardmichael1277 Yes, I know I was there for it. If I'm not wrong He's a Rebel either hit first or second on the Top Ten Chart for the Crystals. Bobby Vee had a big hit with Rubber Ball. Of course when it came to Gene songs... those were written by professionals to showcase Gene's range and were more complex.
