the model used in ARMA 3 is not this JLTV, but the M-ATV, try to google "Oshkosh M-ATV", that one is the closest to Hunter in ARMA 3

Those Jeeps were revolutionary at the time. I am a Jeep guy, had a 46 CJ-2A in my early 20's I absolutely loved. Only reason I sold it is because the family grew and we moved from a small rental house with big shop to a bigger rental house with no garage in a town with some pretty strict code enforcement. Now we own property and have the new shop on the punch list of things to do, then I'm going shopping for another one. The JLTV seems pretty awesome. Makes me want to take my WJ and make it a Grand JLTV for fun.

pierusofpella you know I’m not too sure. I remember hearing about the Navistar but never actually saw it. I’ve seen the development with the MATV’s all the way to the JLTV. I personally hate the look of the Navistars but I did hear good things about them. JLTV looks beautiful and has great equipment installed into them but being and knowing how Marines act, that stuff won’t last long. Negligence will ruin these vehicles.

No, the MATV, or "baby MRAP" as we call it, is a different vehicle. Looks somewhat similar but it isn't the same as the JLTV.

Clint Kysar Some are armored the military never changed the engine. Can’t add a few hundred pounds to a vehicle and think the small stock engine will work

They are duramax,500hp, they'll eat up a humvee and spit it out

Bob Mueller like I said I’ll stick with the humvee, I’ve been in both and driven both in combat. Humvee wins hands down. Big vehicles on narrow roads don’t work well. I remember wheel coming off.
