Joe just enjoys being difficult and going against the grain in conversation. He loves getting up under people’s skin without seeming like he is doing so.
Joe is dodging viral moments Adam is throwing at him that’s why he is dodging certain question and Adam is asking a thousand questions at once joe is an experienced podder Adam ah clout chaser
@@LyndonT18 yea i mean i wouldnt put him on the same horrible person level as a donald trump, but he def treats people poorly and this interview is a great representation of his negative and rigid personality
@@angel_existential I agree. It's sorta fascinating just as much as it's annoying. It's also kinda sad because personalities like this are generally hard to tolerate in everyday life. So I'm sure his personal relationships are not very pleasant...not mostly anyway. Yet, he likely doesn't realize he's a big part of why. The other part is those who try to have relationships when they really don't have to.
you're not narcissistic to make a brand after you. Ever hear of every talk show ever that has the hosts name in the show???? Ever hear of Joe Rogan Experience? I'm sure he copied JRE.
@@DrunkPhotography yeah, but the key difference is that Joe Rogan is the only host on JRE, Joe Budden has always had co-hosts, more so he really built JBP WITH Rory and Mal.
Haven’t watched Nojumper in a really long time… Tuned in for this interview and noticed that Adam is a reallyyy good interviewer now. He stays in the pocket, doesn’t let anything rattle him. I’m really impressed
@@Countmacula666 adam is a better more OBJECTIVE interviewer than joe. joe definitely has more biases than adam. adam will interview the wildest weirdest people and have a good convo with them. joe cant hide when he doesn’t like or respect someone. he tries too but joe is passive aggressive af
@@kevindube7096 for sure. He can be kinda an ass at times tho but i mean what ever, like Adam said what value is there to being nice on first impression? A psychopath serial killer can hold a door open and aks how your day is lol
Duh! It's entertainment. That's how you become more entertaining. You realize what people like and are receptive to and do more of that consistently. That's the basis of all business
These two are like coworkers that don't really like each other or hate each other but know they have to exist in the same industry so they conjure up this relationship that is built on no foundation
Nailed it. But Adam is trying to have a real conversation while Joe is trying to one up him or score points with the viewers with fake smart statements, annoying af.
Adam: “the fans like to see you interact with your friends, they like the friend group” Joe: “that’s not true” Lmao whatttt😂 Joe I’m personally letting you know you’re wrong.
@Cheek Chaser black privilege!? Lmao that was such a white privileged thing to say. Since when did black people have privileges.. I’m trying to find some..where can I get it??
@Cheek Chaser that's not a privilege if it was given to try to make up for the disadvantages that black people have to deal with when acquiring education.
It’s been 54 seconds and I can already tell you Joe be “big bro-ing” him like crazy 😂 and Adam just has learned how to roll with it. Immediately feels like joe has his nose up. “I’m here, I like you, but remember I’m Joe budden” is the energy I’m getting lol
and joe broke adam at the end lol. great interview. all over the place but helps the listener understand their career as an interviewer. felt like a natural conversation
@@ThingsILikke he looks insecure for that? He teases Rory all the time- it’s what some people do when they feel comfortable, no? That’s how I always thought about it anyway
@@sagethelibra Nah definitely not cool. Imagine if a white person teased a black person about being a slave. Would that be cool at all? If Joe does this habitually- especially to an employee- he is 3rd degree racist. Traditional racial slurs for white people are all based on the premise that we are slave drivers, i.e. that we hate black people.
Joe once said he goes by 3 questions, "does this need to be said? does it need to be said by me? does it need to be said right now?" and I think that really sums up the having to something to say essence that ppl lack
This interview was awkwardly brilliant lol. These two guys are masters of their crafts.. Its like watching a chess game and not understanding how great the players are. Salutes to both of you for making this happen
@@corneliusrawness they’re both borderline sociopathic in nature and very personable, they’re good at not taking shit personally so there’s little ego clash
@@Vat6ré you hit it right on the head, with joe it’s so much worse because man is 100% unaware of how he comes off 😂 like it’s not necessarily bad but his way of being is so different from the regular human
In every interview Joe is like a sales person who is buying a car while proving to everyone he won’t fall for the sales person tricks. Meanwhile, whenever someone gives him that same energy he storms off
@@wsean0347 so 2015 isn't that long ago? Hate to break it to you but that was 9 years ago and yes that's quite a long time ago considering everything that's happened since then
@@wsean0347 your rude as hell. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass I was trying to make you aware that just because you think something doesn't mean everyone else agrees. I personally think 9 years ago was a long time ago, I mean 9 years ago I wasn't a mother or a wife and my father was still alive. Have a blessed day
There's so much mental gymnastics and word chess going on in this interview, I love it. You can just feel the tension at times but they both know how to navigate and control a conversation very well in their own ways. This is great content 👏
@@kevinhunt1202 Right? All I saw was someone perpetually seeking validation from Joe who didn't know how to handle Joe, but kept trying... bless his heart. Joe looked like he was getting off of showcasing his intellectual dominance over Adam. He completely boxed him out!
Joe is a tough interview and is an A-type personality entrenched in hiphop culture. He’s a whole challenge especially for anyone that doesn’t know him personally or know what the hell they’re talking about.
this was very dope, they both have equal amount of industry knowledge to bounce from deep topic to deep topic very rapidly & casually, a monthly podcast with them together would be refreshing
Why even sit for an interview if you’re going to treat every question or direction of convo like an attempted “gotcha” moment. I like Joe but this is hard to watch, he makes the convo feel tedious
Well because it is a battle between two podcast host who are trying to win the battle of who is the better host. It’s so funny if you can see right through the BS. Joe is making Adam his b**** in his own podcast I’m dead 😂💀
@@jonafrica5739 be quiet, you couldn’t distinguish the difference between hardwork and luck if you rubbed the last two braincells in your mind together.
Break sounds like solving problems , vacation is vacation, his co hosts already took a 1 month break so that’s prolly why cuz everybody already think they hate eachother
i’m 30 seconds in immediately notice the body language. Adam is a little more laid back and Joe sitting like he about to negotiate a deal on your car payments. Joe coming in here on the defense
Joes talented at dragging ppl into argument over anything and dominating the conversation through tone and inflection. He knows being combative draws a lot more attention and Keeps things more exciting no matter the topic. Occasionally he’ll switch the topic to a random choice that he wants to keep who ever he’s with on there toes. He’s amazing at being so unpredictable and that always gives him the high ground in any conversation.
I think he fumbled with that tactic. This would have been a higher view interview if he came and been genuine. Once we know that's what he's doing then it loses its effect. Arguments that happen organically are more interesting to watch. This was a hard one for me to watch
Joe wants to be a contrarian to everyone’s opinion sooo bad.. it can be 94 degree and a nigga will be like it’s hot outside.joe will be like NO its humid..
Fax, Joe always contradicts himself, he says that he's looking at the news podcasts above his podcast then right after says that he doesn't look at the charts
we got to see a different side of joe. he seemed very upbeat throughout the conversation. we need more episodes like this. less about the questions more about just chopping it up and having a good time 💯
@Kevin Hunt You think Adam is a joke? Why tf are you here then? What is wrong with all the people in the comments today, watching people you don’t like? Bizarre
This was a battle of whos philosophy is better ? They are successful and feel their way of thinking about it is fact and how it is. This interview revealed the range of their Egos
@Stephan Jaxon Adam be out there hustling man. He brings in a crowd. Joe is way too New York, he don't have good connections or vibes with new people. That will be Joe's downfall SMH
