Your tutorial is just amazing !! I couldn't have done the Big John without you 😅!!! For an "intermediate" beginner like me, the outcome is fantastic and over my expectations 😊Thank you so much for posting tutorials like these 😃
So glad I could help!!! Be sure to share your big John on my Facebook sewing group page!! Would love to see it. m.facebook.com/groups/270905030966698/?ref=pages_profile_groups_tab&paipv=1
Very proud Canadian here!! I am so pleased we are getting more and more Canadian suppliers so just show our support so we always have them there for us ❤️
Hi Brandi a tip for making sure that you have the zippers closing to the front is to double clip at the quarter mark on that front panel and in the same quarter mark on the side pocket ( they do that kind of mark in garment construction, but it would work gratin this situation too ! ) I hope that helps you for the next time you have to make one and for anyone else that will make this bag 😊😊
I am sure Riley is stoked! You've done a terrific job. A note on colour as an oil painter - brown is really a dark orange, orange is red and yellow. The combo is great together.
Wow! I have an all leather vintage bag in same style. Thrift store find $1. Zipper just died. i will fix, but now i can make a new one!!! Time to go to my huge stash. More than one? Multi-sizes? Thank you!
Great tutorial! Thank you! I'm getting ready to make the Little John Duffle with WPC inside and out. Do you think that would work okay? The pattern calls for cotton linings so I'm not sure. I have an industrial machine so not concerned about layers. What do you think?
On an industrial not a problem at all!!! Would love to see it when done! Feel free to post it in my bag makers group!! m.facebook.com/groups/270905030966698/?ref=pages_profile_groups_tab&paipv=1
