A Thousand thanks, from Paris, (France). The video of your JMT course, (August 2020), is generous, realistic and very useful in order to understand, anticipate everyone's own trail ... Best wishes 2022, Th. A

Words can't describe how beautiful Mother Nature is. I totally agree with John Muir and the POTUS Theodore Roosevelt. I fall in love with The Yosemite since I started reading the book by both John Muir and The POTUS Theodore Roosevelt. Wish I will get a chance to visit Yosemite before I leave this life forever. I really wish that.

Did this trail/hike in July/Aug, 2000. The hardest, yet most gratifying thing I've ever done. Slept outside with no tent every night - had a bear walk over us, as we were sleeping day 2 (near Yosemite, there are a lot of bears because of so many tourists). When you have to walk/hike 15 miles a day, mostly up hill, your feet get destroyed. But once you make it to the top of Mt. Whitney, it's all worth it! Some people claim they "hiked" Mt. Whitney - the opposite side, there is a trail that takes less than a day to do... but it's not the same - in order to fully brag, you have to take the JMT.

Amazing views and very informative; I loved it! I’ll like to hike the JMT; I saw you mentioned you did this hie in 2020 with different people, right? Do you create different group of people every year to do the JMT? If so, how can I be considered to be part of you group? I’m looking to do ir, JMT, in 2023; thanks!

2019 I did the trail with one other person, 2020 I did it with 6 others and we met people along the trail who tagged along with our group, In 2021 I did a Solo 16 Day Trip. Id recommend going with 1-3 people you know well and get along with for a great experience. Happy Trails ✌️

Love you bro, awesome video. Epic backpacking. How did you manage food for so many days???
@Love2Sin
@Love2Sin 3 года назад
The food planning to me is the hardest part of the JMT prepping process. The most popular resupply options are shipping your food to Tuolumne Meadows, Red's Meadow, VVR & Muir Trail Ranch (MTR) other options are available like a Pack Mule Service. I will be posting up a few videos soon on my breakfast, lunch and dinners. Please don't forget to Like & Subscribe to my channel. Thank you for watching & Happy Trails

@@Love2Sin thank you so much, I already subscribed, I am Pakistani, we go on long hikes, we mostly take noodles and hunter beef with us. These ready made foods are available here but these are tasteless, they offer whole curries. I appreciate your hard work in such a long trekking, specially such nice editing and information which you give in your videos. Looking forward for more videos.

Great video! Yosemite is my favorite NP. Question…did anyone suffer from elevation sickness? If so how did y’all handle it?
@Love2Sin
@Love2Sin 2 года назад
Hi Thanks for watching!!! Fortunately nobody in our group suffered from altitude sickness. I don't have any remedies for altitude sickness but what I believe works as a preventive measure is staying hydrated and breathing heavily on the ascent. (Not Medical Advice 🙂) Happy Trails 🚶‍♂️🎒

I noticed that the first mileage sign you showed indicated that Mt. Whitney was 211 trail miles away. Then you hiked in the correct direction for a while and found another sign that indicated that Mt. Whitney now was 215 miles away. There seems to have been a problem with the space-time continuum.
@Love2Sin
@Love2Sin 3 года назад
That sign is just past Vernal Falls a few feet before the restrooms I'm not sure why it says 215 miles to Whitney maybe a different route... The Official Mileage for the JMT is 210.4 as far as I know 🤔 Thank you for watching much appreciated

Zero'd at VVR & Rae Lakes. Averaged about 9-13 mile days Everyone's journey is different. Some plan a 9 day trip others complete the JMT in 30 days. The end result is the same. I will be posting my solo 16 day JMT 2021 trip soon keep your eyes peeled. Happy Trails ✌️🏞️

It took me an 30 days. I didn't arrange my resupplies right and went out at Mammoth Bishop and Independence. I also was not eating right, no fat, almost no protein. I was a vegetarian at the time and it took a lot out of me. I also had old and heavy equipment but I made it with the 30 extra miles and a sobbing spell on the side of the trail.
@rocketdog4539
@rocketdog4539 3 года назад
How did you plan your itinerary ahead of time? Guidebooks?
@Love2Sin
@Love2Sin 3 года назад
I averaged how many miles we would do per day. We came to an agreement of between 8-10 MPD with 13 being the maximum. Then we planned our campsites around those numbers. Some days our camp sites were a mile+ under and some days they were a mile+ over(Guthooks was helpful). I believe I put the daily miles of our trip in the Video Description. Thank you for watching 😁
