Imagine a pitch for Part 8 be like: "WHO'S THE MAIN VILLIAN?" "WHO'S THE MAIN VILLIAN?" "WHO'S THE MAIN VILLAN?" "Maybe I am the villian." "WHO'S THE MAIN VILLIAN?"
The worst part is when fans start shouting jojo references like ora or dio da to anyone they know, even if they haven't seen jojos, and think it's funny. Without the context it's not funny, you just turn yourself into a very punchable individual. Just like the rick and morty fandom with the szechan sauce
Don't forget about Rick and Morty fans yelling Pickle Rick even though that joke made fun about these fans repeating and laughing at every stupid thing.
@@balabanasireti ah yes but here’s the thing if it’s funny regardless it will be turned into a meme repeated no matter if it’s making fun of us anything can and will be turned into a meme
@lorenco jera YES, PEOPLE ARE GARBAGE. "Jojo fans" only watch jojos just because of the funny meme, not because it looked interesting as a show, a story. Some of them also skip parts and are too pushy with jojo. These same people think that jojo is this underground show, but they would never do their own research and shut up. I enjoy jojo because of what it is a a show, and I know others that do aswell. Its really hard seeing people hate on a great show because of its fanbase.
@@stormz2392 if I wasn't filled with part skipping, dead meme factory kids that consume sunscreen and play damn roblox jojo games that yell jojo references every damn second, we would be fine
I actually consider JoJo fans the Jehovah witnesses of the anime community. I'll be like "Hey I just finished (blank) y'all got some good recommendations for anime?" And they we be like "Would you like to hear about our lord and savior JoJo Christ." Even when I'm talking about western shows JoJo fans are always there lurking in the shadows silently hissing wrrrry. It's annoying sometimes but I still love the show regardless and there's many good JoJo RU-vidrs out there, Xforts, Meti, Shuck, Riverdude, etc.
JoJo fans want to get people into JoJo because JoJo fans have an "obscurity complex", that was born before the 2012 anime, where JoJo was very popular in Japan but beyond Niche in the west. So back then people tried to push JoJo to everyone because was an obscure series, they wanted to make it popular that so, who knows, an anime could be produced, right? The problem is: JoJo fans never "outgrew" that phase. JoJo is extremely popular nowadays, and there is no reason anymore to push it to anyone. If someone want to get into the series they could do it by themselves.
They are sharing the fandom and in a phase, They are new fans. And there are Veteran ones that just stay quiet. But there are even more Jojo fans and the fandom is growing, So it seems as if the fandom is annoying. Yes. Dont fight me gentleman, You opinions also matter.
As a JoJo fan I completely side with and oppose this opinion, for it may be true that we're no longer a niche, it is the phenomenon through which we as a fandom have bonded the most. Simply put, asking someone to watch JoJo is in the essence of being a JoJo fan.
I actually like part 3 cuz they introduced stands and more weird stuffs started happening. New enemy appears every 2 ep. I had so much free time to watch. I was like :Oi tf this is amazing.😅 Now i only watch few animes depending on recomendation.
I actually really like Jotaro cause of alot of reasons but I don't really like most of the stand users in Part 3 because there are too much of them and some parts were filler-esque type and it's just Polnareff sometimes which contradicts the name "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" and the only part that saves it from being bad is the final fight with DIO.
Big brain: Frankenstein was the name of the doctor, not the monster Bigger brain: Frankenstein was the monster’s “father” so the monster was also a Frankenstein Biggest brain: Dr Frankenstein was the monster
The bit where they were talking about the intense enthusiasm you have after first getting into it got to me.. it really is excruciating how passionate one can feel for the show and not have anyone to talk to abt it
Nah not that much Give it 40 episodes , some people had to watch 100 to get hooked , if you're not hooked by the end of alabasta it's not for you , it's an amazing story overall.
it gets good since season 1. It really depends on what phase in anime you are at when you get into those shows. Like if you just got addicted to it, you can get into pretty much any anime. like I literally got hooked to jojo and one piece in one episode flat.
People who unironically say "is this a jojo references?" or try way too hard to find ANYTHING to be a jojo reference are so unaware of how obnoxiously annoying they are.
nahh dude we moved on since last year our memes and references are smart and hard to understand if you are not a jojo fan well, didn't i speak to soon?
This is how you get someone hooked on JoJo: Tell them they need to watch the first 11 episodes and they can give it up if they want to after that. The moment Jospeh pulls out that tommy gun, that’s your best chance of getting them hooked.
Being honest, it only works if you're like a teen, people say Joseph is the best JoJo character, but for me he was more bland than Jonathan. Like, there's a bunch of characters that are built like him but better.
Spy See Pie Aplle Shrug. Everyone has their own opinion. I dropped part one a couple times because I thought the entire show would be like how part one was. Once I got to part two the show became much more enjoyable because of how charismatic Joseph is. But that’s just me.

i remember i was watching a video on how to make filet fish and the lady was italian, so she said "pesci" and i saw a jojo reference in the comment that was talking about her saying "pesci"😐
I never once thought jojo was boring when I watched it. I didn’t even hate part one, in fact, I actually LIKED IT. I also loved the art style, it’s one of my favorites. I guess jojos just perfectly matched my taste
FINALLY! I though I was the only one. Overall part 1 is imo the wrakest, but it's still amazing and I don't understand why people say it's boring or it only gets good later
I feel like there are 2 Jojo fandoms. The actual ones where they read and watch the series, and then the Meme fandom who for some reason are more invested in Jojo than the actual Fandom.
There’s like, two tiers of Jojo fans: The ones who are largely anime only and have maybe not even watched all the parts yet, or are god forbid PART SKIPPERS, who just like to meme with their limited mainstream knowledge of the most viral jojo moments. The ones who enjoy jojo like a trained somalier, and could unironically write a 100 page dissertation on the themes of god, fate, religion, and theological determinism in Jojo, who will get offended if you try and tell them “it’s just a manga dude.”
@@daquaviousbingleton7106 I mean...same thing happens to jojo fans when they reference jojo in the comments of a song that was an inspiration for a stand or something.
me not undertsanding why so many people dont like part 1 bcs i think all parts are great lol and jonathan is my fav jojo :D but i was .. no i am that annoying jojo fan
Jonathan is the most vanilla shonen character ever. He literally made a street thug into his family best friend by a punch. That is my only reason, and it is not even a good one.
Jonathan is the most pure Jojo of all. A real chad gentleman everyone else has flawed characteristics but the only flaw Jonathan has is he trusts people too quickly.
The best part of the JoJo fandom is Part 8 gang because it's the smallest part of the fandom and I'm actually shocked by the developments in the story, especially Chapter 100.
Part 8 is the most bizzarre out of them all. It started as a guy with 4 testicles, now it's a battle between rock organism vs the 4 testicles man and his bffs
The most annoying part of the jojo fanbase is how they think the same old joke is still funny "kono dio da" "holy shit was that a jojo reference!?" It's not funny shut up
All the jojokes are getting old fast and this comes from someone, who love JoJo. I mean they all act like, as if Part 2 and 3 only have the best reference, when there are other tons of jokes in other parts.
@@cirno9.915 I agree with the part 2, not with the part 3 since there are many funny jokes that can be found when you take things out of contexts from part 2. Meanwhile part 3 is either dio, or its road roller
The thing about JoJo is the continuous improvement, every part is a massive upgrade over the last one and Araki is not afraid to change literally everything about the series once it starts to become stale, while other artists would just drag it out.
part 5 was my favorite, just because of the heavy fate theme. at the end of part 5 with the rolling stone stand, man that gave me an existential crisis. and the characters are all so unique and interesting.
When I watched part one I was like “this is kinda boring.” And THEN I saw part two- And I’m gonna admit it- I am very annoying I make jojos references a lot
@Captain Bruh yea, I don’t say the same JOKE over and over again anymore, its like a tic sometimes. Just me saying “Za Warudo” “Ora Ora” or “turururu” and it’s kinda uncontrollable. The only joke I really make is the doughnut joke.. not as much, maybe once a week?
The fandom likes to spam all the overused joke and there is no creativity, and when you mention a real jojo reference they just be like: “Huh? what i didn’t get that, i only watched part 3”
Me too. When I started watching all I knew was that a time-stopping vampire named Dio was going to fight a guy named JoJo, and when Jonathan died I was like: But didn't he have to fight Dio wearing that cool hat? (as I had seen only a few images I thought Jonathan and Jotaro were the same character), and where is za warudo?
I started watching jojo sometime during the beginning of this year, and my god i love it so much. I didn't even have that hard of a time getting into it as i've heard many have. I was pretty much on board with the series from the beginning, and i loved everything about it. I eventually moved on to the manga, and i'm currently reading part 7 (which i've heard is the best one). I love me my jojo, but i totally agree that the fanbase can be very annoying with the constant overdone memes, or the fans constantly trying to shove it down everyone's throats. Not everyone's gonna like the show, and the memes are getting very stale. Now i won't lie, i'm still guilty of having constantly referenced jojo around my friends and my brother, but now i mostly do it ironically. Mostly.......
I liked the 1st episode of part 1 but it got worse and worse, part 2 was completely insane and i fucking loved it and i also loved part 3 a lot and it wasn't hard for me to get into it at all, i was waiting for the stands to appear for so long, imo part 3 is better than part 4 just because of how much it takes part 4 to become good and because of some annoying mini arcs and characters, like Shigechi and Koichi's gf, also i didn't really like Josuke
I thought part 1 was pretty good. idk why ppl hate it. But then again I watched it during the beginning of my anime phase and I had just mopped up a ton of crappy isekais and Sao.
As a jazz kid the moment when autumn leaves appeared I flipped out. The hype when a stand gets named after a piece of music/musician you love is unreal. Especially when it’s not mainstream
I remember watching JoJo for shits and giggles but got hooked in episode 1 XD It was also then where I realized that’s where the “To be continued...” meme came from.
@@stoneoceanjustgotconfirmed2206 yo, I finished reading part 4 in like a month or something like that and that's the part with the most chapters as well!
The jojo fandom is what the dbz fandom like was when over 9000 became a meme except instead of letting the meme die they just kept running with their memes even till this day.
To play devil’s advocate. Jojo fan base has way more than the, what, five memes that DBZ had before Abridged became a thing? And the scary thing is, it’s a meme base that continues to evolve depending on which Part you’re on
@@troggdorthesecond that and the jojo fandom generally reject all the super spammed memes like kono dio da at this point, generally its just those people just getting into it that throw it out everywhere
Ill bet "I took the first napkin" and "I am a rock" will become huge memes when the anime comes out I mean there already pretty big in the fandom but there going to blow up im calling it.
To be frank the references got me into the show and now's it's one of my favourite works of fiction although I can see how someone can't get pissed off by the constant references
Some lesser known anime have alright fanbases, since it's kind of the same 30 people discussing the show online and things stay pretty civil. I'm thinking of something like Yona of the Dawn, where there are maybe a handful of toxic people but the rest of the fanbase is chill and just excited for new content.
Me neither! 🤣 After I finished reading part 3, I was hanging out with my mom, going for a drive to the next town over. There was road construction at the time and there were 3 or so steamrollers on the side of the road and I couldn't help but get the giggles
Connor says no other manga makes American culture references like that, I'm not sure if this counts but this mange I like "Bungou Stray Dogs" has characters with supernatural abilities named after authors in Japan and America.
Jojo is a doorway with a one way door and before you go through that door you can easily leave but once you go through that door you can’t go back, this door however is really heavy, the heaviest thing you have ever tried to move, this door is part 3
no, im an introverted jojo fan too. i never really mention im a jojo fan unless someone else brings it up or whatever. i just prefer not to be with other jojo fans online because theyre hella annoying and cringe. but not all fans are like that
For me what made me fall in love with JoJo from the very beginning were the color changes and art during dramatic scenes. I had never seen something so unique and weird. The pacing of the first part was incredibly fast and I was confused, but I needed to keep watching. (I went into it not knowing the premise or any memes oddly enough.) The music references are top notch. Knew some of them before watching, like DIO, which is ironic cause when I first heard Holy Diver I hated seeing all the references in the comments. The Stand fights are creative as hell, and not just about winning with brute strength. The outfits..the poses..the over the top flamboyantly masculine characters..the fact that araki references his art from old masters and fashion magazines. I could go on. It's all so cool. The fandom can be kind of cringe but it's also so passionate, for good reason. jojo will always have a special place in my heart, especially part 4
I agree with everything you said. I love the theme songs and the art style, colors, the humor, and the characters personalities most of all. Although, I don’t think the show is weird but it is unique. I had never loved an anime like that since Fairy tail. I do hate the JoJo memes because they are not funny at all. Anyway, much love. Nice opinion, bro ❤
To get people into jojo i show them a few youtube clips of choice 1. Joseph's grenade trick vs Straiton 2. Joseph and Avdol vs Maria 3. Josuke breaks his motorcycle to avoid a baby
I started working on a Trish cosplay before quarantine and at that point I was a casual. Jojo has become one of my favorite anime but most people dont know that about me and i havent worked up the courage to finish my cosplay cause if i do that means i have to wear it and subject myself to the rest of the fandom and that scares me, like Im about to expose myself.
Trying to get into the jojo fan base is like trying to get into that group of people that you really want to be friends with. Once you join you realize they're the biggest losers you've ever seen
I find it hilarious that Jojo fans are completely cool with Demon Slayer fans even though the anime had many inspirations from Jojo but Hxh fans completely go apeshit over someone for liking Naruto because it took inspiration from Hxh and deny that Hxh also took inspirations from Dbz and sort of Jojo also
@Genadi Julfianto also, it always seems to be the HxH fandom that always flex for watching a non-generic anime. AOT fans (especially the manga readers) never circlejerk themselves for reading a not so generic storyline and most seinen fanbases are pretty cool.
Well Jojo references are such big parts of "Jojo culture" that fans seeing inspirations from Jojo in other works are just like: "Cool, a Jojo reference" And they start making even more references on their own.
Ok, so I've been watching anime and getting into the communities for about 2 years now. And the one common pattern that I've always noticed is that there are very few people that actually show the toxic tendencies that are stereotypical of that fanbase (except for MHA, that shit is mostly or all bad). It's as a lot of people say the loud 1 percent, it's annoying as fuck, believe me I know but people shouldn't just say an entire fandom is toxic because of the loud 1-10 percent, because most people in the Jojo fanbase are pretty cool, and nice people
for my encounters ill say 3-10, i went into a vid about jojo is bad and the comments is just like 3-10 percent, alot of them are chill but another side is just people who hate jojo and 8-10 are blind doing it, it seemed like they searched the vid just to feel secure about themselves
I think the annoying minorities are louder in every single fandom. MHA included! Even with fandoms I absolutely despise, I’m aware that the vast majority of them are completely nice and reasonable people.
@@ihatealmosteverythingequal820 EXACTLY LMAO! Some of those videos were extremely satirical and JoJo fans disliked it without knowing the context of the video.
I'm a Jojo fan and I've never had this phase but my younger brother recently watched it and he's doing exactly what you guys mentioned, thank god I don't live with him, this shit would get old fast.
The show itself is 'bizarre' so expect its fans to be 'crazy' for liking a show like that. While some people find the fandom annoying, well basically because they're all over the place spilling Jojo shits, I would rather let them run amok with their shenanigans than listen to other fandoms' drama.
If Jojo wasnt here, then there wouldn't be the to be continued and other things that made things exist because of Jojo. Dont fight me Gentleman, Opinions Matter.
@@user-bk8bh5ni2j True, I'm not even bothered by the barrage of Jojokes and Jojo memes on the internet. In fact, I'm enjoying it. Like I always say, the Jojo community is absolutely the funniest and wackiest fandom in the anime industry. And this is probably the reason why non-Jojo fans are annoyed by them
The biggest and most sobering moment for any jojo fan is the moment they realize that Jojo....just isn’t for everyone. There are people who will just......not find much enjoyment from it. And learning to be ok with that is surprisingly hard.
