Drew,you forgot Batman#138,World's Finest#88 and my favorite of all the Joker comics,the Killing Joke.There is also a cover of the Joker with stickies on his face on the cover but I don't remember what issue it is.
I enjoyed the shout out for TAS joker - Mark made that series classic. The pouting joker cover is one I cherish. I was surprised to see FM DKR and not the killing joke.
I loved B:TAS. Raced home after school to watch it every day. As for The Killing Joke, I’ve talked about it in a couple of different videos (and to a lesser extent The Man Who Laughs), so I thought I’d mix it up a bit. Thanks for watching!
Yes! I found this to be awesome. I recently shifted my collecting to Joker covers. I was all over the place with comics, realized my favorite is Batman but the reason was the Joker is the best villain (my opinion). I have a collecting obsession with The Killing Joke. Overall so many fantastic Joker covers. Thanks

That's the dastardly thing when it comes to the Joker being inextricably tied to Batman, his appearances go all the way back 80+ years so it gets tricky with first appearances and early appearances. Thankfully there's plenty to go round between then and today. Great list, Drew!

This video's especially helpful to me because I know absolutely nothing about DC books if they aren't George Peréz, Jack Kirby, or Alan Moore titles 🤔 I must be the only guy out there who has stacks upon stacks of Wonder Woman comics AND collected editions but only a handful of Superman & Batman ones.
I wish I could find a collection loaded down with WW comics! They are few and far between around here and the fan base has been growing for the title in recent years.

Thanks Drew...one thing I've never been able to wrap my head around is how the writers over all these years have always had Batman trying to rehab the Joker, BUT they never take into account the hundreds, probably thousands, of innocents he has "killed" over the years. Guess that blindfolded lady holding the scales really isn't peaking! ;-) Look forward to your next installment!
SO many great covers! I didn’t even get to include any of the great Golden Age Joker covers that are out there! Tec168 is great, but there are definitely better GA Joker covers.
Things being overpriced on eBay is a tale as old as time, particularly on the buy it now side of things. If you check sold items you will find examples of books that have sold in the area of the prices mentioned. Often times there are even outliers that have sold for considerably less. You may need to wait for an auction or use the OBO option, but it can be done. eBay is the convenience store of the world and if you want to roll in and buy what you’re looking for in an instant, you’ve got to pay the convenience store price. But if you’re out in the world digging at a show or a LCS and can negotiate, you will have no problem with getting books at these prices, or less.
Drew,can you please make a video of all the major silver age Marvel and DC characters? What is the first silver age app of the Joker? I looked online and I get like 5 different books and there can only be one first silver age app of the Joker.Thanks
Hi Jarred! I actually dig through and figured it out a while back. It is rather convoluted, as you mentioned. The issue was that the Joker didn’t get a long hiatus between the Gold and Silver Ages, which is why the water is murky on that question. As a community we can’t agree on the exact moment the ages change, which doesn’t help the situation either.

I was curious if you would do a video of the first silver age app of all the major chars from Marvel and DC? I know it will make a great video and you probably know the best books to get from $50 to $500. I got most of the books you mentioned in your Joker video but the Killing Joke will always be my favorite Joker book cause it has to be the most vicious Joker story ever told
