What can I say Romero was ahead of his time most underrated Joker ever on a show that was supposed to be campy in tone he still managed to come off as downright terrifying the laugh sends chills
And I think his version of The Joker gave him some of his modern characteristics. Such as his nickname, “The Clown Prince of Crime”, and his quote, “The Joke’s on you!”
Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor...I am Pagliacci."
I ain't sure if this is Cesar singing, however he does have a beautiful voice. He sang in the 50s show Zorro, where he plays Don Diego's uncle. And his voice is beautiful.
@@whovian1591 It doesn't sound like Caruso. The sound is less full. The vowels are more horizontal. It sounds like a non-Italian singer, if I had to guess, based on how they pronounce "pagliacco". But I could be wrong. Caruso recorded it a lot, and this might be a recording I don't know. This recording is definitely from that era, though.
