Niche interaction in which you can also use this against someone who gilded drakes you. Copy drake, swap the copy for anything on the board, then copied drake dies at your end step.

This unfortunately doesnt work i dont think cause the sac trigger is for it being under your control. At least thats how it works with Saheeli where you can run that and volatile drake in the 99

Mons can you check the nadu package (nadu+nomad/shaman en-kor+springheart nantuko+cephalid illusionist) winrate? Seems a solid and powerful package on bant-ish decks

My understanding is that extra combat untappers do not work with the balloon man due to the sorcery speed restriction, unless they specify you get another extra main phase

No, he's correct. If the ability can only be activated as a sorcery, it cannot be acticated at any point during the combat step, and Combat Celebrant just goes Combat Step > Combat Step with no main phase between. You would need an Aggravated Assault style effect to do this indefinitely

I feel that card needs blue to reach it's full potential: intruder alarm, can go infinite with any creature that gives extra mana on ETB, eg Dockside 😅

I joked that Jolly Balloon Man is "Kiki-Jiki at Home," and glad to see my assessment isn't wrong. Genuinely the only commander in the set that interests me because Boros Combo sounds like the dumbest thing in the known universe and that makes me happy. He also technically works with Felidar Guardian and Ashnod's Altar, but for cEDH that's probably a tad slow
