Back in 2007, I started on my journey to my second life. There was a famous Chinese philosopher called Confucius who said, "We have two lives, and the second one starts when we realise, we only have one." I was working in Norway in 2007 and something tragic happened that made me think twice about this life. I will be retiring to the Philippines this year, and it is knowing that we only have one life, that pushed me to retire early. My journey to retirement in the Philippines has been a long one, but it will be a worthwhile one.
