The Journey is an edutainment game, featuring (unofficially) the Mars One proposed mission. The game was created by myself over a period of 4 months as a Graduate project for my Interactive media degree. I've since made some updates to the Graphics and Code
My aim is to educate the user about Mars and potential human colonisation. I am by no way affiliated with Mars One, I used them solely for educational reasons and to demonstrate human habitation/colonisation of Mars. This is because Mars One marketed their brand successfully and they're planning their mission for the near future (and I found their habitat designs aesthetically pleasing).
Almost everything I created for this project I had to learn for the first time. I managed to produce this thanks to a lot of awesome tutorials, documentation (I'll add links to some beneath) and a hell of a lot of trial and error.
